Kel and Bartholomew split from the group and begin to enter the camp. You quickly approach a disorganized looking cluster of kobolds at the base of the watchtower. As you approach you overhear bita of their conversation’s.

The stealthy crew enters the brush on the perimeter of camp and observes the other’s approach from a distance. Unable to hear the discussions.

Bartholomew speaks draconic and listens to the kobolds. Interesting that they worship dragons, but he supposes it is not a surprise. But hoping things will be better for them when Tiamat arrives is misguided at best. Not to mention if Tiamat did arrive that would be a terrible day for good and evil. He turns to Kel and shrugs. "Let me talk to them", he suggests in a low whisper.

Kel whispers back, "Sure. I can understand them, too."

Bartholomew approaches the kobolds as if he belongs. Reassured that Kel can understand everything being said he says in draconic, "Greetings little dragon folk, glorious days ahead, we are indeed fortunate." Without saying much more he waits to see how the kobolds react to another dragonkind.

Actaeon scouts the perimeter, looking for potential ways in, and especially looking for points of interest, like a command tent, or something important.

Slate heads round the perimeter in the opposite direction, also looking for anything significant.

Seeing his two new companions split their search, Athas decides to accompany Actaeon, keeping an eye out for points of interest and any parties of mercenaries he might recognize.
