You just see your reflection in the mirror. Nothing strnage happens.

Deciding that maybe he really just had to dress up, Tomas picked up the elf ears and put them on, turning his slight points much larger.

Yorrick puts down the bottle, steps up and grabs the tiefling horns. Do these look real or manufactured?

He's thinking, There has to be a game here somewhere.

Herod puts on the most attractive set of men’s clothes, puts on the orc ears, looks for an orc tusks mouthpiece, and tells the group, Is anyone good at making disguises? Can someone help me with the makeup?

Once done, he will perform his heart out.

Stalwart checks the wall behind the mirror, thinking I'm a warrior, but I'm feeling like a trained bear.

@Herod: After you put on the orc ears you feel your form begin to change. Your shoulders get much bigger and your arms get significantly longer. You hear the shirt rip as it fails to take the strain of your rapidly increasing muscle mass. You feel much stronger than you did before.

You take a look in the mirror and see that you are now an orc. Your skin is green and you have massive shoulders and arms.

You touch your head but the headband has gone. Looking in the wardrobe you see that a new orc ear headband has appeared.

@Stalwart: You do not find any secret doors or compartments.

OOC:
Is it purely cosmetic, or a mechanical change?
Dec 4, 2018 5:32 pm
OOC:
Did anything happen to Tomas when he put on the elf ears? Or was there no sort of magical reaction?

My life would be so much easier with wizards and sorcerers, thinks Stalwart.

Stalwart removes his armor (in case he changes size) and throws the biggest tunic in the closet over his current clothes. Then he dons the human-eared headband. "I always wanted to know what life was like from my father's point of view."

For a few minutes I sit and enjoy spectacle around me. Really, some people would pay good money to see show like this.

— This is fun. I smile widely. Someone might even say that I'm grinning.

I stand up and approach the door. First thing that I do is check if the door is ... locked. I try to both push and pull it.

OOC:
@Tomas: Sorry missed that.
Tomas feels some of the weight leave his already slender aim. He feels his balance improve and something strange happens to his face. He looks down and see the floor near his feet is covered with small hair. And your vision. You see details that you have never seen before. Is that a new colour?
Dec 5, 2018 12:39 am
@Stalwart: You feel quite strange. Not as confident as you did before, but you feel a little stronger and tougher as your build begins to even out.
Dec 5, 2018 12:40 am
@Moon: The door is unlocked and you manage to open it without any problems. On the other side of the door is a stange blue liquid looking barrier.

OOC:
@Herod: Oh yes. You definitely gain mechanical changes but you're not sure entirely which ones. You definitely feel stronger and perhaps a little tougher.

Still grinning, I look back at everyone.

— Sometimes 'overthinking' can be the worst trap of them all... I say, open the door and glance at what lies behind it.

On the other side of the door is a stange blue liquid looking barrier. Even to your untrained eyes it is obviously magical.

I do believe that we have a winner. Good job Moon.

Yorrick takes off the bear suit that he never removed and puts it in his pack. He then proceeds to take a copy of every headband and place them in his pack along with the makeup remover, a nice set of clothes that look like they would fit, and some of the makeup because why not? (Yorrick is looting the room.) He then waits to see what happens when people walk out of the room after their race change.

Stalwart puts his armor back on and enters the room with the blue barrier. He stares at it for signs of familiarity.
OOC:
Not knowing how Stalwart's stats and abilities may have changed, I won't add any modifiers to the Arcana check.
