Her question seems rhetorical. She continues and you're not certain whether she is talking to you or simply thinking out loud.
Well, that explains the spider corpses. Giant Spiders, like all spiders, are matriarchical by nature. That demon must have come and killed the females in order to establish dominance over the males.
But then it mated with them. She points at the clusters of blue eggs. I'll have to take care of those. I apologise if any of you are squeamish, but I assure you, this must be done.
Then she transforms into an elephant and tramples all over the egg sacks. You see, several baby demon spiders attempt to stop her, climbing all over her back and biting her, but once she is done smashing the eggs, she shifts back into her gnome form and you hear a thunderous blast.
The baby spider demons are sent flying away and none of them get back up.
Then she turns to you all.
Now that it's over, Come. The spiders know me and shouldn't give us any more trouble.
However, before you can leave, Duke's phoenix flys over, grabs his arm, and tries to pull him towards the spider's web and the other exit.
Oli's eyes glaze over as she looks at the phoenix. Wow! I've never seen a phoenix before! What do you call her?
