OOC:
@Moon. You're not in a dungeon, so no. If you had been in our first dungeon then it would have definitely apppied. I'll keep that in mind going forwards though. Thanks for the reminder.
[ +- ] Elvish History 10 or better
The language is clearly Elvish but Archaic and it would be a little like reading old English. Most of it is intelligible but strange. A set of random yet unconnected words. Moon, Ice, the, seven, suns, Hades, Star, Circle, Tripple Pointed, Come.
[ +- ] History 15 or better
There is something about the precise writing that gives you a cold, hard feeling. As if the creatures who wrote this were cold and cruel. Possibly, no probably drow.
Drow have not been seen on the surface for over 1000 years.
[ +- ] History 20 or above
You have read extensively about the demons of the abyss. When translated into other languages their names often take on odd formations, as if the mortal languages cannot express the concept or perhaps the humanoid mind cannot contain their utterly incomprehendable nature.
However, there is one thing you are quite certain of is that a demon's name has been written here in Elvish.
Looking down into the vast cavern you recall your purpose in coming here which was to get the help of a druid to defend Berda Trading Post.
You could explore the cavern but it would take weeks, possibly even months and you would need a lot more supplies than you currently have on you.
What do you do?
