"Out of the way!" Urthask roars, and charges through those crowded around the door to have Arktos crash through it.
May 31, 2019 5:57 pm
Hearing Urthask bellow behind him, Viktor dashes out of the way of the beast and it's master.
May 31, 2019 7:16 pm
Hetris likewise moves to the side, not eager to be the first unto the breach.
Jun 3, 2019 9:39 am
Shadow begins to pull out her lockpicks, only to leap out of the way as Urthask charges through.
Jun 3, 2019 12:55 pm
Arktos crashes through the door, taking both the door and part of the framing around it and turning it into kindling.

This room is cold and damp; an old armoire stands near the east wall. The ceiling slopes down to only four feet high to the northeast, leaving little room for a small window. A full-size mirror in a dark wooden frame of coiling roses leans against these bricks, angled toward the tiny window.

Curled up in the corner, facing away from the mirror is a sobbing female form in a filthy dress. She doesn't react as you enter the room besides to sob a bit louder.

Be careful, Urthask! Viktor warns from behind Arktos as he tries to see better into the room and spots the hunched woman.
Jun 6, 2019 6:32 am
Urthask is at a loss. He realizes this could be another illusion, or a trap of the more mundane sort (road bandits have tried the old damsel in distress ploy on him several times - not that he ever fell for it, thanks to Arktos). But still...

"Madam...may we be of some assistance?"
Jun 6, 2019 12:46 pm
Arktos won't let Urthask get too close to the woman for some odd reason, though he keeps sniffing and baring his teeth. The woman doesn't respond to Urthask's inquiry, though she does try to lift her head, but when she sees the mirror, she breaks into louder sobbing. When her face comes into view, it looks rather pale, but it looks familiar to Urthask.
OOC:
Give me an Int check to see if you recognize her

That face.... why is it so familiar?

Rolls

INT check - (1d20)

Gongar hesitates as Arktos definitely doesn't like the woman's mojo.
OOC:
We are all killing it with these Int. Checks!

Viktor and Hetris recognize the woman as Iesha Foxglove, though a lot more pale and gaunt than she looked in the painting downstairs.
Jun 7, 2019 9:11 pm
OOC:
Has Iesha turned into some kind of undead?

Rolls

Knowledge: Religion - (1d20+4)

(19) + 4 = 23

Viktor figures it's possible that she's some sort of undead, but her paler-than-usual state could also be caused by being locked in this room for a long period of time.

That's the woman from the painting, Iesha. I felt hate when I saw her, somehow I feel she is not an enemy to us. Viktor moves closer and tries to comfort the sobbing woman.

Skriz scrutinizes the woman for a moment, trying to discern more about the woman's nature.
OOC:
Knowledge: Religion to see if she's some sort of undead

Rolls

Knowledge: Religion - (1d20+8)

(14) + 8 = 22
