Thanks PgrZero. With all the game rules rattling around in my brain, I wasn't sure. Also didn't think to look and see what the SRD said or to dig out the book in the other room.

Yep, so after making a Cleric and a Paladin and staring at the sheets for an hour. I decided on going as a Cleric of Pelor.

I have also submitted my character, both in PDF form and here on GP. I present Kija Fen, ready for adventure!
OH...and I forgot to put the subcategory on Craft (weapons) on the PDF, it just says Craft, but it does say that on the GP character sheet.

Will you guys also give me a little bit of backstory? It doesn't have to be anything elaborate, just some quick and dirty info about how they grew up, what they did for a living, and what happened to make them want to be adventurers would be phenomenal.

Glitches +1 I foolishly didn't save before going to bed and my pc restarted itself, adobe saved my bacon by restoring an unsaved file (the sheet).

So I have a rogue on virtual paper and a backstory floating around my head..... But will wait to see what else pops up (in case soemoen else is really wanting to rogue it up). We have half the characters at this point (not including me) right?
