We have four complete characters now, and the others haven't posted in a while. I've removed them to open spots for other people who would like to play. Would you like to get started now and integrate those people when they're ready?

Sorry. I'm new to this system.
I'm looking at this page for swashbuckler class and it has a entry for something called "parent class". What does that entail? Does that mean I need to gain levels in that class first?

No, that means that the hybrid class is roughly based on the two parents. If a fighter and a gunslinger had a baby, it would probably be a swashbuckler.

Also, LadyBrash - if I do go with the swashbuckler character, he'd be based somewhat on an NPC I made for our other game. So it may be very gentle spoiler. I hope that's alright with you.

You don't even have to download it, really. Just copy it and rename it to your character, then right click and open in Dochub or some similar PDF editor.

I'm going through equipments right now and was wondering how much for a grooming kit (like razor, comb, etc.)? It's not listed in the tables. Also, do I need to keep track of rations and such? Should I be buying rations?

No need to buy rations. Most of the game will take place in and around the city. You will have the opportunity to stock up for excursions before you go.

BTW. I will be committing to a halfling swashbuckler with mouser archetype hailing from tiny village Hollowsky until someone raises an objection or counter with a good argument why I should not.
