"Don't let that one get away!" Rodrigo yells, pointing out the goblin trying to flee through the kitchen. Diaz seems to flow around Jericho as he pursues Grug. He punishes the goblin with a katana strike to the collarbone followed by an elbow to the face and a vicious knee to the groin. (Move to C4, Flurry of Blows)

@Tsavo the attack will be at disadvantage because he's 5 feet from you.

In Goblin 3's scramble he manages to avoid another blast, but just barely.

Grug barely blocks the sword, using both hands for extra leverage. Now vulnerable to Rodrigo's martial arts the elbow staggers him while the follow up kick takes care of the rest, Grug immediately falls to the ground with a soft *Thud*. Goblin one whimpers quietly.

Naji, seeing Goblin 3 becoming a major nuisance causes a mysterious mark to appear on their head, and then firing off another blast. (Hex, Eldritch blast)

Goblin 1 looks at Rodrigo with fear, dropping their weapon and cowering before him. "No! Please no hurt Mulrick, I'll be good!"

Goblin 2 feels a mild burning sensation from behind. Just as they turn to look Prowl's swarm of flies assaults their body, each bite stinging their flesh. Screaming in pain they slam into a wall, knocking them out cold.

"Grug's down! E'vry goblin for 'emself!" Shouts Goblin 3, striking one last time and using this moment to hobble next to Goblin 4. (Nimble escape, I6)

Goblin 4 who is out of javelins, pulls out a large kitchen knife, rapidly looking between the party. "Stay back! 'N-e-one get too close and you'll be mince-meat! (Within 10 Feet)

OOC:

Rodrigo points his sword at the knife-wielding goblin. "Surrender now! You have 6 seconds to comply! Six...five..." Rodrigo begins counting down......but it's a ruse: he advances and rolls over the bar, pummeling the goblin kicks and and stun baton. (Flurry of Blows)

Goblin 4 doesn't hesitate. The knife flies at Rodrigo, but that doesn't seem to stop him as his baton and second kick hit their mark. Goblin 4 looks quite dazed.

OOC:

If you would like to use deflect missle I will allow it to be nonlethal should you choose, otherwise 6 damage.

Damage reduction from Deflect Missiles is currently 1d10+8 so I guess no roll needed?

Rodrigo's first kick seems to miss the goblin but in truth it was intended to deflect the knife flying towards him. The knife bounces off the perfectly-aimed kick and flies back towards its thrower and hits the goblin handle-first right between the eyes an instant before both the baton and second kick land.

Tremor registers genuine shock at the pain but even more surprise that it wasn't as bad as he feared. All at once, the young tiefling realizes combat doesn't need to be the terror filled panic he imagined. With renewed determination, he grins and unleashes an angry blast at the struggling creature before him.

Actually it won't because they retreated.

Too weak to dodge, Goblin 3 takes the full force of Tremor's blast, striking him to the ground where they crash into some plates strewn about, lying motionless.

Goblin 4 is utterly shocked Rodrigo could reflect the knife, but it doesn't last as it collides with his head. The following kick ensures their defeat, falling unconscious as drops of blood fly from their jaw.

OOC:

Alright combat is over. Only Goblin 3 perished, and Mulrick is still cowering.

With all threats neutralized the robotic insect swarm reintegrate, and PROWL returns to humanoid configuration. The metallic vines carpeting the bar area dissipate in a cloud of static.

"Assistance required retrieving assets:
1. Goblin rear sentry.
2. Human hostage.
3. Security cam hard drives."

Without waiting for a response, PROWL disappears into the kitchen to secure the items mentioned.

"Tie them all up." Rodrigo says to no one in particular. He sheaths his weapons before disarming and tying up Grug himself. Then he interrogates Mulrick. "Tell me about Ulgrik and what Grug's plan was. How long til Ulgrik gets here? Quickly now!"

Flinching slightly, Mulrick feels his pulse rise at these pelting questions. "Oh, uhh, Ulgrik's the boss, big and scary, scarier 'en Grug. Grug j-jus want'd to push us aroun -aru- alot. Ulgrik said he'd be back in an hour to pick up "the goodz". Somethin about a war." He starts counting with his fingers. " ate-teen, nine... Twen-tee minutes ago! Thas all I know, I swear!" He looks up with pleading eyes.

Rodrigo nods, then starts issuing crisp commands. "Tie them all up and load them in the van. You, too, Mulrick, unless you want to stay and help us. Jericho, you're in charge of Mulrick. Naji, find a place to hide the van. Is someone helping PROWL yet? Never mind, I'll do it. Those of you with drones and assistants, set them on overwatch positions. We need to get ready for Ulgrik. Tremor, call it in."

Tremor's eyebrows raise. "That's a lot of orders...and I don't know what 'call it in' means." He frowns and slips a slender device from his pocket. Depressing the side trigger he speaks into it. "Cap take up an overwatch position." A pause. "I don't know either! Just find a spot that's relatively safe where you can keep a general eye on things. Com me if anyone sketchy approaches." He returns the device and shakes his head.

Returning his gaze to Rodrigo, "I assume you mean call the base and let our superiors know of the current state of affairs..." After a brief pause to gauge the man's reaction, he turns his back and walks slowly away with his com in hand.

OOC:

Anyone trying to overhear can clearly tell he is relaying the substance of the encounter to their superiors.

Hearing Tremor on the comms, Rodrigo nods, satisfied, and heads for the back to find PROWL. There's a lot to be done* and not a moment to lose!

*What preps do you guys think we need to do? How do you want to deal with Ulgrik? Rodrigo wants to be the leader but I don't.

There is enough time (I've decided) to perform a short rest along with prep work assuming it isn't too involved, also Naji has an owl patrolling the perimeter.

"Got it!" Says Naji, excited for another chance to drive the van. Without another word she dashes outside and brings it around back. "I help!" Says Mulrick, already dragging a goblin in an attempt to impress everyone.

Cap will stand watch on the roof, feeling quite pleased with their choice of spot.

Tremor, after a few seconds waiting for your call to go through, the voice of Isabelle answers. Relaying your current progress Isabelle sounds fairly pleased. "Oh that's great. This Ulgrik character isn't in our database so you'll have to wing it, likely a goblinoid based on their name though. We'll hold off sending in the cleaners until you call it in. Any questions while you have me?" The sound of keyboard typing is present throughout the call, and for a second you faintly hear a yell from the director.

"I think it's pretty straight forward. I'm assuming you'd prefer a clean capture and retrieval rather than just taking this Ulgrik down. However, should he be...uncooperative, can I relay to the others that we are clear to use any measures necessary to subdue him?" Tremor listens carefully to Isabelle's response so that he can pass it on to the team as accurately as possible.

Whatever Isabelle's response, Tremor will thank her, sign off, then immediately inform the others of their instructions/guidelines.

Jericho sends his drone to perch on top of the building's opposite side, instructing it to ping him if anything approaches. Then he turns his focus to Mulrick. "I think you have a choice here. You may get off easier if you help us with this Ulgrik fellow."
