OOC:
I edited the spoilery one on page 19, does that include the note on page 20 where I mention Keleth?

OOC:
Honestly, for me, I did not see anything, even from before the edits. Maybe something in my browser (Firefox 65.01, Mac OS X 10.12.6, AdBlock, NoScript) shielded me from spoilers.

Once he was seated, Cole pulled out his phone and checked his messages. One possible crisis after another... and he wasn't the leader! He was about to see how good a communicator he really was.

*Keep us posted, Doc. We need to know where you are so we can get out of here quickly if necessary.* he typed back.

"Some curious entity is by the van. Spidermoon's moving to see what it does but he'll hopefully keep us apprised," he thought to everyone.

To everyone but Diaz, he though, "Diaz is going to make some crazy bid to grab that sword. I'm trying to talk him down but be prepared for this to go left."

"Don't do this, Diaz," he thought to the would-be sword-stealer alone. "If it's that important to you, won't making it out of here alive to have it also be important? We aren't even sure about our getaway van. You do this now and we'll get killed and someone will pry that sword from your rapidly cooling dead fingers."
OOC:
I'm not sure if I've broken the communication action economy but there it is.
Not sure about using Persuasion against a fellow PC but, also, there it is.

Rolls

Persuasion w/ Psychic Glamour advantage (to talk Diaz down) - (1d20+10, 1d20+10)

1d20+10 : (3) + 10 = 13

1d20+10 : (19) + 10 = 29

The van is parked along the street across from the restaurant, the strange being looks out from the pothole down the alley leading to the back of the restaurant.

While you are sitting down considering your next move the bartender shouts out to the group while drying some glasses: "You boys want something?"
OOC:
For any pvp persuasion based matters I'm more into the players purely RP'ing it and discussing anything ooc so that no one gets the wrong idea (just in case!). If it was say an insight check I'd allow it, but with persuasion I'd argue you can basically go "I rolled a 20 you have to listen to me" . This is an exaggeration but I think it conveys the potential problem. Thoughts?

Also yes Cole has insane persuasion in addition to being a bard it's nuts.

OOC:
is there another area to park the vehicle on the oppisite side but able to keep an eye on the ally? or am i basically stuck there if i wanna keep an eye on it. as for the pvp communication thing i ll post my thought in the ooc chat.

"I'll know in a sec. Just checking on our ride to see if we've got time for another round," Cole replied to the bartender while raising his phone.
OOC:
I wanted Cole to be the perfect negotiator. Here ya go! :P

Trouble in the alley. Spidermoon in possible danger. This changes things. Not that Rodrigo was about to endanger the main mission anyway. "Retrieve at all costs," the communique had stated, with no directive which mission should take priority, but Rodrigo wasn't prepared to endanger Lock agents' lives for something they didn't sign up for.

Rodrigo looks Cole in the eye. "Everyone gets out alive first. Then I'm coming back for the sword. Alone, if I have to. Where's the doc?"
Mar 6, 2019 5:58 am
"Looking for somewhere to park, I'd guess, if his new friend doesn't eat the van. He'll text when he can. If he can," a very relieved Cole thought back. "When we're back at base, tell us what this is all about. You know the team will help you if we can."
Mar 6, 2019 5:59 am
Unaware of the thought-discussion between Cole and Rodrigo, Jericho kept a stoic face as he watched their facial expressions.
Mar 6, 2019 6:06 am
OOC:
The van could be moved to the other side of the street so that its on the sidewalk parallel to the restaurant and in front of the alley.
Mar 6, 2019 6:57 am
"Sword crisis averted. Let's wait here for Spidermoon to tell us about the van crisis," Cole thought to everyone.

"Should I check the meter?" Jericho says aloud. "I got some spare change." His eyes look between Cole and Rodrigo, silently implying his volunteering to go up and investigate whatever's going on with the van and good doctor.
Mar 6, 2019 5:09 pm
OOC:
I'll do that and send the message to Cole
I'll keep my eyes pealed between the ally and the monitors.

Moving the van just a little bit closer the glowing orbs lower ever so slightly, but remains fixed on you.
OOC:
It will take maybe...1 minute to get to the van if you book it.

"I thought we were leaving." Rodrigo murmurs. "What's the hold-up?"
Mar 12, 2019 9:44 pm
OOC:
I was waiting on Spidermoon to message us, sorry.
"He's ready, it seems. Let's go."

Cole nodded thanks to the bartender then headed out.
