02 Hunting Gobbos!

As Aya bounds upto the goblins her attacks fail to connect as the pair turn and start running, tossing bow's and other assorted effects to the side as they go.

"Hmpf. Even in great numbers cowards are still cowards." Khurza says, viewing the fleeing goblins with annoyance. "Who knows what sort of tricks will be next."

"Hopefully the next one won't be bring your friends." Pomin mutters dashing forward to try and close the distance before straining a bit to attempt to get off one last shot on the fleeing goblins.

Pomins shot arcs through the air before impacting squarely in the back of one of the goblins. As it hits the floor in a pile of flailing limbs before becoming very still it's companion, preoccupied trying to watch out for more arrows, trips over something and hits the floor. From the crunch it makes as it's head collides with the earth you're pretty sure it is an ex-goblin.

Aya take a moment to catch her breath, looking around at those she aided.

"Umm,hi," she says between breaths. "I hope you didn't mind," she gestures to the fallen goblins.

"Not at all I always like when someone helps me not get stabbed in the face. Can someone look at Nya think she took an arrow to the head..." Pomin states, "Pomin by the way, Imma sit down now." he adds slumping to the ground trying to control his breath and wipes sweat from his brow.

No reinforcements for now... check the bodies, hide the bodies cover out tracks... Pomin thinks to himself as he stays in place like a small ragdoll of a Halfling with his bow still gripped with one hand as he closes his eyes.

"Good shot." Khurza offers a hearty pat on the back to Pomin, her adrenaline waning with the battle concluded. "I am Khurza, that...was Nya." Her mood sours somewhat as the fact comes crashing down, walking with purpose she checks the goblins for supplies. "Better armed then we expected, where did they procure such weapons?"

"Well there was probably a envoy for the benefactor or the benefactor themselves with the Matriarch on the riverbank. If we've been hired it's stands to reason we're on the right track. Besides think of the outcome of dozens of goblins well armed and organized attack the town. Like us they're start out thinking they're 'just' goblins." Pomin states trying to assist Khurza in inspecting the bodies, checking for useable, and figuring out how to hide the bodies.

"Hmm..." Khurza inspects the build quality, looking up and down the weapons. She takes a few practice swings of their blades, feeling the weight and balance in her hands for good measure,

"Dwarvern, the smith who forged these imprinted each with their logo. Might fetch a fair price, but that still leaves the mystery of how these blades were acquired. Khurza stockpiles the weapons. Looking at their goblin prisoner Khurza considers their next course. "I think I'll ask our attacker, anyone care to join me?"

"Before we do, I think we should tend to our wounded." She turns to look at Pomin, "May I?" Aya asks holding up a glowing paw.

Pomin nods and is slapped by a paw. He's quiet since he's not sure if that was the healing or her way of saying 'suck it up'. His lips purse as he ponders the possible cultural divide.

"Uh... Thanks?" Pomin offers up after a while.

Still admiring the sword in her grasp, Khurza thinks she spots that damned vulture from earlier. She swears it's peering right at her, but doesn't wish to draw attention to the fact, the others might think her paranoid. And then she feels...strange, like a tingling sensation envelops her hand. Not knowing why she is compelled to place her hand over her wounds. A stinging sensation overcomes her, like stepping into an open flame causing her to drop the sword in shock. Annoyed she looks for the bird with half a mind to kill it now, only to find it vanished from sight. Settling for exacting revenge later, she doesn't notice her newly closed wounds.
