Daniel deftly kicks the torch onto the statue of Sha Krom. The statue immediately lights up. Black smoke from the burnung oil fills the roof of the cave. A single grimalkin attempts to slash at Lavender but pulls back as its hand burns in the sunlight.
The singing and laughter of the shadow disappears as the grimalkin wail in agony.
I love the team work!

Did we lose Murt & Stearvall?On a separate note Gamersplane keeps timing out when I try to access the site. I have been almost completely unable to access the site for the past two days. Just FYI if I become scarce until this issue fixes itself...

I have also been having a hard time accessing the site :( Hope it gets fixed!I am still around and will be for many months. So hopefully after the site issues are resolved we can get things going again.

Hi all, what can we do to get this game moving again? I know I always get frustrated when I am playing in a PbP game that slows down and dies. Can we say everyone take an action?Also if Stearval is MIA we may want to change the goal. Let me know in the OOC what your characters might be after.

Murt skewers the grimalkin before her. It falls lifeless to the ground. The two prone creatures pull themselves up. The creatures turn on Daniel and Murt unable to get into the sunshine to attack Lavender.
A grimalkin runs behind Daniel and jumps on him from behind. He lands on Daniels back and bits at his neck and scratches at his expose arms. Another creature attacks from the front but Daniel fends it off with his sword. But a third grimalkin takes advantage to attack Daniel and finds some soft tissue on the back of his leg. A fourth grimalkin lifts its body up from falling over and charges at Daniel but Daniel dodges.
Three blood thirsty grimalkin lunge and attack Murt with a whole lot of crazy in their eyes. But they get crazy back as Murt bites, kicks and punches them keeping them at bay.
Strangely as the small statue continues to burn the grimalkin begin to shake violently. One seems to try to speak, "Shaaaaa krommm..."

Lavender smiles evilly at the burning totem before turning to witness his companions still getting overwhelmed by undead goblins. Flipping his attention from Daniel to Murt, back and forth, he finally sees Daniel seems to be getting the worse end of the battle and stabs at the grimalkin hanging on Daniel's back.As Daniel instinctively thrashes in self-defense he ends up swinging the grimalkin side to side violently. Lavender takes several stabs, but each one is met with empty air. "Hey!" *stab* "Stand still!" *stab* "I'm" *stab* "trying to" *stab* "HELP YOU!"

Daniel grimaces in pain and continues backing away down the tunnel as he slashes at the grimalkin. As he fights, he tries to force the creatures into each others' way.

I think we are going to need to figure out how to handle the game from here on out. Do you all want to take over Stearvall and Murt? (it seems they have lost interest in the game - so sad. Lavender's attack draws attention from two grimalkin on Daniel. One lunges at Lavender but Lavender deftly dodges the grimalkin tripping and landing on its companion (prone). The grimalkin on Daniels back continues to look for opportunities to attack through Daniel's armor scratching here and there. Its companion also gets a bit of a bite in.
The creature facing Murt cannot get close to the whirlwind of ferocity that is a 19 year old girl.
Stearvall also joins the fray. He moves forward unafraid of the grimalkin mumbling "Molotoch is my savior the savior is with me" he reaches forward and attempts to lay his hands on Daniel. Unfortunately the sound of a crow screams "No! If he is to die then leave him be!"
