Xelia, I'm gonna skip you for now to keep the game moving forward. Feel free to take 2 turns when you return.

In the face of overwhelming aggression and the futility of their own attacks, the Kenku start a fighting retreat. The one knocked off the crates rises to their feet and launches a desperate arrow at Alastriona, then backs out into the yard while reloading (Alastriona takes 9 damage). The other two Kenku give up their cover to fire shots at Stitches and Alastriona, and then head toward the yard as well, keen on escaping. Both shots fire wide in their panic.

Rolls

Attack 1 on Alastriona (attack, damage) - (1d20+5, 1d6+3)

1d20+5 : (13) + 5 = 18

1d6+3 : (6) + 3 = 9

Attack 2 on Alastriona (attack, bane, damage) - (1d20+5, 1d4, 1d6+3)

1d20+5 : (10) + 5 = 15

1d4 : (1) = 1

1d6+3 : (2) + 3 = 5

Attack on Stitches (attack, bane, damage) - (1d20+5, 1d4, 1d6+3)

Alastriona reels from the impact against the crates, just in time to catch the kenku's arrow that sends her spinning to the floor.

With wide eyes, Stitches watches the aasimar fall. Dropping his rapier and unslinging his bow, he pivots on his back leg to point an arrow out the front door at the kenku farthest into the yard. "Ya pig! Like killin’ me mates, does ya?" he bellows in Krentz's voice, before firing.

OOC:

Including a Deception check, in case Krentz's voice disorients the kenku, and I'll use my inspiration.

Stitches and Butler open fire through the open doorway as Alastriona hits the floor, and one of the arrows catches Alastriona's assailant. Stitches' uncanny imitation confuses the Kenku as to whether or not Krentz has actually arrived, stalling their retreat.

OOC:

Moofsalot is sick, so I'll run Xelia's turns as well as Vatra's. Get well soon, Moofsalot!

Seeing the Kenku breaking out the bay door, Xelia bolts up the stairs to the roof in a blinding burst of speed. She reaches the rooftop and has a clear view of the yard, and viciously mocks the birdmen, bruising their egos.

Vatra attempts to stabilize Alastriona, and is successful.

The Kenku shrugs off Prince's heckling is visibly shaken by Prince's harsh words.

Also, Xelia and Prince notice a pair of passer-bys making their way down Candle Lane, who quickly reverse course and speed a hasty retreat when they see the skirmish.

Sorry, you were right Jabes. I made the post at 4am after helping my son who had a bad dream. As soon as I put the phone down I knew I had screwed up haha! But I was too tired to fix it until now :)

The Kenku consider retreat but are conflicted by Stitches' imitation of Krentz's voice. They take a gamble and stay and fight instead, hoping that reinforcements have arrived. They fire on their rooftop hecklers, one of the arrows getting through (Xelia takes 9 damage).

The crew of Kenku then dart over to the big bay doorway to gain some partial cover while knocking arrows. One calls out to you all in the voice of a beautiful female singer:

"Surrender, surrender, but don't give yourself away, ay, ay, ay."

OOC:

All PCs are up for the next round, in any order. Go!

"Noooo!!! You bastards!" prince howls at the kenku as he catches Xelia. Laying her down on the roof, he tries in vain to stop the bleeding from her arrow wound. "Hold on, Momma!
Stay with me!"

OOC:

Action to stabilize Xelia. Failed that. Granting her Bardic Inspiration on the death save.

Butler very calmly keeps walking across the room snapping off shot after shot at the Kenku.

If I can tell which Kenku looks to be the most injured Butler will fire a shot off at them, if not he'll shoot whichever looks easiest to hit before moving into cover

After Butler drops one of the kenku, Stitches weaves a path behind him, firing a shot at the wounded enemy and crossing to the opposite side of the doorway to take cover.

Two more Kenku fall dead in a matter of seconds and the final Kenku's survival instincts override all other sensibilities. He tosses his shortbow aside and calls out in a Zakharan accent: "I fold. Two threes and an ace." fold by the sound of cards snapping onto a felt-covered table and the clatter of wooden chips.
