While Prince distracts Zemk, Xelia strides forward and smacks him hard with her staff twice, both times in the face. "You'll thank me when I'm done with you."

Zemk manages to dodge Sitches' arrow, but he cannot avoid Prince's jab, which strikes a nerve with Zemk exposing deep-seated anxieties about the size of his hand axe. And then he finds himself on the receiving end of a devastating brow-beating from Xelia. Reeling, he suddenly grows in all directions. His head cracks into the ceiling, showering the room in dust. His war pick is now enormous, easily able to kill in a single blow.
"BIG ENOUGH FOR YA?" he booms, his voice echoing throughout the entire hideout.Meanwhile, the Intellect Devourer races up to Alastriona. It stops, raises a paw, and tilts itself to one side, not unlike like a curious puppy regarding a new playmate. Then, it assaults Alastriona's mind with a barrage of intense sound and light!
Next up for round 3 are Alastriona, Butler, and Vatra!

Zemk is now at 3 hitpoints! But he's also used his enlarge ability to become a large sized creature. When large, he does huge damage: 2d8+2! Watch out!OOC:

Seeing Grum'shar drop Butler changes focus and sends a crossbow bolt straight for the strange brain on legs.

Not too sure where Butler is in relation to everything else at the moment but he'll try and keep as much distance from most things but wanting to keep a line of fire on the intellect devourer as a priorityWoot! Crit!!

Butler's bolt impales the intellect devourer with such force that it pins it to the ground. It twitches wildly, scratching it's claws along the stone like nails on a chalkboard.

Like a mole in one of the puppet games in the bazaar, Stitches pops up from behind the bunk, bow ready. At his first glimpse of the now-giant Zemk, he gives a startled jump and fires reflexively, at what would be chest height on a normally-sized creature. The target is substantially lower on Zemk.

Seeing its pet die so decisively, Nihiloor decides retreats through the portal. After it passes, the shimmering portal reverts back to a wall, and the bauble it placed in the wall crumbles to dust.
Floon Blagmaar calls out from the large room (Q7). He's restrained on the floor, wrapped in chains.

Whatever inner thoughts she might consider about the escaped mind flayer, they are interrupted as Floon speaks up. Alastriona sheathes her sword and walks forward to pick up the nobleman by the chains that bind him, and pulls him up to eye-level. She studies the man's face, comparing his face to the image in her memory. Finally, she grabs hold of Floon's jaw to turn his face this way and that, before sending a wave of healing warmth through his body.
Satisfied that she has accomplished one of her missions, Alastriona pulls on the chains to bring Floon to the party, not unlike a hunter with a successful trophy.

Floon isn't sure what to make of Alastriona and struggles in vain against her rough handling. The wave of healing light, which visibly closes wounds and heals bruises, wins him over.
"Uh... thanks! he says as Alastriona drags him along the ground. "Hey, who are you?"
In the background, Zemk rages against the dying of the light, screaming and swinging wildly with his massive warpick, being pelted by fire.
