Kuroi says:
OOC:
It's up to you, Sclasclemski, how to rule it. The answer on Sage Advice is quite ambiguous...
OOC:
Quite ambiguous. It starts off as if for sure you cannot use it as a readied attack. But with him throwing in the reaction at the end, I don't know. If it were my game, I would rule it as not taking effect as a readied action. But yeah, ultimately Ski's decision.

Also, I don't know who Seven is, maybe Nine's long lost sibling? ;)

That makes it sound like a reaction is perfectly acceptable...as long as it hasn’t already triggered in the round.

And dude for some reason I keep mixing up your damn characters name. I don’t know why.

Maybe because it’s your characters name when you click the character button down below lol

Bebaral takes a few steps away from the oncoming zombies and jumps at the wall behind him but misjudges where his hands needed to be and lands right back down on the ground.
OOC:
that will be your action. You can still use the remainder of your speed, 5’ used so far.
Old Owl Well

OOC:
Ok, if you could move me 1R and 3u that should put me by the tree/other wall gap.
Nov 21, 2018 3:07 pm
The zombies chase Bebaral slowly pursue the halfling, barely able to keep up with him.
OOC:
they all dash to follow
The zombies by the rest of party begin pushing out and around Spark and Nine...

11 & 9 attack Nine, doing only minor damage (1pt)

3,4, & 5 go after Spark, with only one of the slow moving undead able to make contact 4pts
OOC:
In progress...
The Red Mage begins to move his hands and utter some arcane words...
OOC:
Leylin can take your readied attack against the mage..

Thanks...I keep missing those bastards...corrected...Leylin you can take your readied action against the MAge.
Nov 21, 2018 4:00 pm
OOC:
I'll roll with advantage just in case - ignore if there wasn't any.
The moment wizards actions indicate that he's attempting to cast something my swords move to stab into his back...

Attack (Shortsword vs Red Wizard) 「reaction」

Rolls

Attack - (1d20+6, 1d20+6)

1d20+6 : (8) + 6 = 14

1d20+6 : (6) + 6 = 12

Damage (piercing) - (1d6+4)

(2) + 4 = 6

Nov 21, 2018 4:52 pm
OOC:
If I'm standing on top of the crumbled wall, my zombie attackers would be at disadvantage right? If so, here's what I'll do:
As Leylin reveals himself by attacking the red mage, I understand that the target must be threatening enough so that he'd prefer to forgo his camouflage.
I therefore sheath my mighty sword and begin to cast a spell: as primordial words begin to flow, a powerful gust takes me off the ground to put me on the wall, from where I shoot my spell to the priority target: the Red Mage.
Taking advantage of my relatively safe position, I move away from my decaying attackers (while staying in the wall, so it must be be difficult terrain).

Bonus: Tempestuous Magic (5ft high, 5ft right-ish -- wall)
Action: Chaos bolt (critical, 28 thunder damage)
Movement: 15ft right (w/diff terrain)
[ +- ] Chaos bolt
OOC:
8 and 2, so that will be Thunder damage that doesn't bounce.
But hey, CRITICAL STRIKE! :D (how do we do crits again? @GM found it: no additional rolling)

— Nine, disengage before you get surrounded! Or, chop them up quickly!
Nov 21, 2018 5:20 pm
OOC:
Is it Nines turn? I don't see the order but my computer isn't being lame and wont load pages before page 3.......stupid work PC!
Nov 21, 2018 5:33 pm
OOC:
As Spark and "enemy" have the same initiative - Nine should be next. But we need naration of what wizard was trying to do and if it succeeded or not.
Nov 22, 2018 1:01 pm
OOC:
Yeah, I probably should have waited for that narration before I acted... Got caught in the heat of the moment =D
Nov 23, 2018 6:15 am
OOC:
Spark- I will apply your action after the npcs go..Happy Thanksgiving all!
Leylin’s form suddenly appears directly behind the red-robed Wizard as he stand the bald headed human with his short sword...
OOC:
rolling a dc10 con save to see if he can still pull the spell off..
The spell sputters and fails to develop.
Spark:

4 will still get an AoO as you move away, making contact, it ends up doing slight damage (1pt)

Also rolling a acrobatics check (DC10) to see if you stay on top of the wall as you move, with advantage becaue you are move at half speed. Pass

The chaos bolt rips through the air with a clap of thunder and the Mage is hit full on BOOM. He crumbles to the ground from the impact, seemingly lifeless.
OOC:
In progress...

Action needed:
Gu’lorg/Droop
Leylin

OOC:
Im stealing caveJohnsons spreadsheet format but I haven’t finished sharing it yet and am doing this update from my phone. I will post the new roster status page tomorrow. Hopefully...
Nov 23, 2018 8:31 am
OOC:
I'm cool with taking only 1 damage, but I'll remind next time that movement from Tempestuous Magic doesn't provoke AOO ;)
Also, well, thanks to Leylin's temp HP =D
Nov 23, 2018 9:50 am
Seeing ball of pulsing thunder energy travel towards the wizard, I jerk my sword backwards. Just to be safe. It's a good practice with arcane powers - I learned it the hard way in my father's enchanting laboratory. Yea, fun childhood.

As the wizard crumbles to the ground I sheathe my swords and switch to crossbow, letting bolt loose at the undead closest to me.

Attack (Crossbow vs Z5) 「action」
Next I move backwards, hiding behind the crumbling wall of the tower...

Move (2sq up and 1sq right) 「movement」
OOC:
Happy holidays to those, who are from US :)

@DM is it sunny weather? Need to know if there is 'direct sunlight' or not ;)

Gu’lorg will take a step diagonally to get a better look at the scene, rubbing his hands together and saying B’flang-ouzfratchje.

As he does so, grease creeks on the floor, going underneath the feet of zombies 3, 5, 9, and 12.
OOC:
Roll reflex saves for each of them or they fall prone.

He will then concentrate to move the ball of fire over the group of zombies near Nine, hitting#5, purposely scraping the flaming sphere onto the ground.
OOC:
Another reflex save for #5. Also, I’m trying to light the grease on fire, in order for all 4 zombies to burn. Not sure how you want to handle that mechanically, DM.
Droop heads up to bolster his companion, standing toe-to-toe with #11, and stabbing at him with his quarterstaff that he is holding for Gu’lorg.
OOC:
I don’t know Droop’s stats, so I’m rolling straight dice. Please add his modifiers when adjudicating plz.

Rolls

Fire Dmg - (2d6)

(11) = 2

Quarterstaff vs zombie #11 (2-handed) - (1d20, 1d8)

1d20 : (15) = 15

1d8 : (5) = 5

Also, well, thanks to Leylin's temp HP =D
OOC:
The way I see it is you used Temptuous Magic to get on top of the wall (5up 5over), this got you safely away from Zombies 3 & 5 without an AoO...you then moved along the wall under your own movement (15' right)...unless I'm misinterpreting Temptuous Magic only alllows safe movement for those 10'...not the entire round. So when you move out of range of 4 is when they get a shot at you.

Leylin's arrow hits its mark, causing the zombie to begin turning in the direction of the attack.
OOC:
@Leylin- Windy and some clouds, but mostly sunny yes.

Two of the zombies fall down, unable to maintain their balance as the grease appears under their feet. #5 is injured by the flaming sphere, which unsuccessfully attempts to also catch the grease alight.
OOC:
ACcording to this, Grease is not flammable
Droop smacks the zombie in its torso, he turns to Gu'lorg for approval.

In Progress...
Action Needed:
Bebaral
Nine

Rolls

DC13 Grease Dex Saves - 3,5,9,12 - (1d20-2, 1d20-2, 1d20-2, 1d20-2)

1d20-2 : (4) - 2 = 2

1d20-2 : (13) - 2 = 11

1d20-2 : (20) - 2 = 18

1d20-2 : (20) - 2 = 18

DC13 Flaming Sphere Dex Save - (1d20-2)

(13) - 2 = 11
