It appears that the game has moved to a Discord server. Of course, that means I will not be joining. I see no need to play these games any more intensely than they already are right here.

Araklusta prefers GamersPlane, but I wanted to try out Discord as a means of play-by-post not as a matter of intensity, but just as a way to experiment with usability. There's another DM running a game on there, but currently neither Araklusta nor I are running playtests right now on either platform. We've found we both get burnt out pretty quickly, haha. We'll definitely let you all know if we start another playtest here on GamersPlane though! We have a bunch of new subclasses and are even working on a new class.

I'm NO good at Discord but I will pop over there when I get a chance. I have thoroughly enjoyed the subclasses you have churned out thus far.

With the Avrae bot, Discord offers some great conveniences, like character importing from D&D Beyond and built-in encounter tracking, but I think I've concluded that GamersPlane is better overall. It's just so much more natural to use.

Again, I apologize for my absence. I got hit pretty bad with anxiety/depression and I'm still dealing with that blow. It was never my intention to invite you all to play and then abandon you! If you've missed this stuff as much as I have, there's some good news to share: I'm starting to feel like this game can be a thing again. Be on the lookout for news here within the next couple of weeks!
