"Or if we're going to fight them we should try to pick them off one-by-one."
Oct 23, 2019 10:11 pm
"We should crush them now while we have the advantage of numbers." the large tribesman declares while reaching for Grimslash, his rune forged greataxe.
Oct 23, 2019 11:14 pm
"Then let us prepare. Remember also they have a magic shield that absorbs the initial damage we do them. We need to hit harder to get past that."
Oct 24, 2019 6:28 am
"Are you sure?", Bram said, hesitation obvious in his voice. Then, steeling himself mentally, he added "Just keep them bottled, then. I have a nasty trick or two up my sleeves, still."
Oct 24, 2019 11:35 am
"Smite them with your magics while I keep them occupied. Don't hold back, I will be fine." Einar assures Bram and any other spell casters.
OOC:
Famous last words...

Guessing that my fumble on stealth means Bram just tripped on a pile of metal tubes, that crashed noisily on the metal floor... kind of works to his advantage, seeing as he'd rather have the golems close the distance, rather than have to close with them, thereby exposing himself in that open broad corridor...
Bram flinches as his attempt to reach cover caused far more noise than he had expected.

Bram - go ahead and make investigation and perception rolls.
Oct 28, 2019 9:59 pm
As you all seek to creep up on the trio of golems down the corridor, Romani's heavy foot clanks on the metal grating, causing him to pause. Unfortunately, that happens just as an inattentive Bram slams into the armored back of the knight of Geoff, eliciting a startled cry that echoes down the hall.

Almost in perfect unison, the three golems turn in your direction, their red eyes flashing back and forth along their face plates. One of them calls out the now-familiar, metallic voice "Citizens halt. Investigation required. Escaped detainees in the area. Disperse to your domiciles. Commandant has been notified" it says as it begins moving your way.

Seeing as there were three golems this time, Hraefn sought to distract them with other targets. He sought the animal spirits within him, and summoned a pack of wolves at the other end of the corridor from them.
OOC:
Casting Conjure Animals, 8 wolves, 4 each surrounding the further two robots. Rolling initiative for them. Also rolling for their attack and damage, with Pack Tactics advantage.

No need to retcon anything if its going to be a hassle, Ket, but I had pointed out that Bram was sticking to the cover available on the perpendicular corridor, rather than exposing himself to the golems.

OOC:
No hassle, but with your stealth check, I wanted to add flavor. Assume that you are where you expect to be.
