No need to wait on everyone to decide your course of action. If the plan has been agreed upon, i.e. head to some city to purchase the required items, let me know who is going where and what the final outcome should be. Then we can move the thread forward.

Common stuff: 40 gallon barrel of wine (15gp) & 5gp of spices for cooking. 5 sheets of paper (1gp), bottle of ink (10gp), 5 ink pens (1sp). (plans to have copies of the maps) Check around if there are better maps of the area then the ones she has currently.

Of all weapons, I hope spears would be easiest to come by. I'm going to try to buy 50 spears (50gp 150lbs)and have Ligeia (capacity 540lbs) carry them, likely with some sort of rigged up system involving rope and other shenanigans. It's a small cost, true, but I'm hoping some of my companions might split the cost of the spears with me, as leading an orc rebellion benefits all of us. :)

"My squire will accompany you to town." As if out of nowhere, a young half-orc, in his teens, and already fully armoured and equipped, appeared at the side of Korgazhar, standing at full attention. "This is my nephew, Braghnak. He came of age two years ago when he killed his first elf, and understands the kinds of weapons that orcs use. He will do exactly as you instruct."

"Yes sir!" Braghnak declared with a near salute, even as Koragazhar signaled for Hedrek to give the young half-orc a small bag of coin.

"Serve Julian as you do myself, or I will kill you in front of your own mother," ordered the senior half-orc warrior.

Ælfric noted the 'killed his first elf' comment but neither said nor did anything in response.

"Ah, elf slaying. A traditional rite of passage, no longer practiced among the cosmopolitan orcs. Good to see it's still being carried on in the Orcish heartlands... I will go to the city as well. I can probably get better a better price for the weapons using my tongue."

I am going to be dropping Gurtrek from the group. His player hasn't posted in 2+ weeks, and he has not responded to any of my PM. Guess you all will have to make due with what you have as i don't intend on recruiting anyone else.

Understood. Thanks for the heads up DM. Hope everything's alright on his end.

"And that's why we eat cosmopolitan orcs for breakfast!" Korgazhar guffawed at the idea, a bit too loudly. "But you elves have nothing to worry from Braghnak, he is after all still in training." Suddenly, the half-orc punched his squire in the gut, as if to prove a point. More surprisingly, Braghnak did not flinch, but still stood chest out, ramrod straight posture, at attention. Korgazhar grunted his approval at his protege's discipline.
OOC:
Ah darn, I was hoping to do Fastball Specials with Gurtrek... :P

Fernal is happily drinking a cup of her wine from the new barrel as she sits on the entrance way to the cave. She has a spy glass in her lap that she was using. She earlier made copies of the upper and lower parts of the building with her supplies from the city.

The town expedition returned more quickly than Korgazhar expected. He had thought that the barbarian woman was going to get drunk and carouse at the nearest town and forget to return, but instead she brought a whole barrel back with her. If the half-orc had considered joining her, he would've had Braghnak bring back another one for himself. But they were on a mission, and Korgazhar considered it ill-disciplined at best, and negligent at worst, not to be at their most cautious behaviour.
OOC:
Deducted 25gp from Korg's coin, as his share for the weapons.

Ælfric ignored Fernal's drinking for the moment; he merely hoped she would be in complete control of her faculties when necessary. His focus for the moment was on inspecting the weapons and other supplies brought back.

"Skig!" Korgazhar summoned his weaponbearer, who came skittering across the cave with great urgency. "Assist Aelfric with the weapons!" Just because these adventurers behaved rudely and dishonorably, did not mean that Korgazhar was about to behave likewise.

@DM. Were we able to acquire the weapons before dawn? Just trying to figure out when in this flashforward my helmet resets. Trying to make things such that it resets AFTER we return, but that may not have been possible.

Deducted 25gp for my share of the weapons. Marking 50 spears under Ligeia's inventory.

Edit based on Ket's reply tonight -> tomorrow
"Step one of our plan is complete. Tomorrow, we kidnap the hill giant chief, Nosra, and provoke the orcs into rebellion if the time permits." Julian says as he slinks back into the cave to acquire whatever rest he could before the night's activities.

In order to buy the weapons you would have had to go during the day, and then returned. It is now nightfall, perhaps around 8-9 o'clock? So no, your helm will not have yet reset.

Understood. Fixed the previous post.

The night deepens quickly, with the coming of clouds and a breeze that smells of rain. The omen holds, as sometime in the late hours a rain begins to fall. it lasts until just about dawn, and the sun rises to a misty valley below. Here in the higher hills the water forms a few small streams running down the hillside, but nothing more than a muddy nuisance is the result.

The day promises to be a bit warmer than the recent week, and with the ground saturated with water the humidity rises even early in the day.
OOC:
Plans for the day? Anything other than sitting and waiting for nightfall? I'll wait for everyone to respond, as I am hoping we can finally get back on track with a daily schedule.
