I thought I had said it earlier, but there is no need to roll crit damage. For our purposes, a critical hit will automatically double the damage you do. It’s easier than going back to add rolls, or having to add a critical damage roll every time, ‘just in case’.
OOC:
My bad as well. Forgot about that rule in my excitement.
ArnoldPoodle says:
Bards get no attacking cantrips, and I figure vicious mockery would be too loud to use in this situation.
OOC:
I don't think it matters either way, with the amount of damage the rogue and fighter do, but you could always contribute a quick dagger blow to the total. Up to you, of course. :)

GeneCortess says:
Fernal attacks the sleeping prone giant. She puts her long sword blazing just before the strikes with it two-handed. She again controls herself not to go into rage.

+7 Sword (both hits) +10 Sneak Attack +8 Fire Damage + 6 STR (two-handed) +2 Crit = 33
OOC:
Instead of adding additional points to your roll, when rolling damage you should roll 1d10+2 for each attack if you are going 2-handed. Otherwise, your damage is 1d8+2.

Also, based on your rolls, your damage should be:
Sneak Attack Damage 10x2 = 20

First Attack: 3x2=6+2 = 8
Extra Attack: 4x2=8+2=10
Fire Damage: 8
Total Damage: 20 + 8 + 10 + 8 = 46

Moving with the stealth aided by the magical cloaking of Aelfric you all swarm upon the second sleeping giant. This one, like his tower comrade, appears to be in a drunken stupor and is unable to defend himself from the deadly blows reigned upon him. Within moments, the deed is done and the lifeless body of the giant lies at your feet.

DM Random Roll - (1d20+0)

In this case: (fixed)
My first attack has advantage and was a 21 (Critical due to Sleeping) and did 6 Sword (Critical), 2 STR, 16 Fire (Critical), 20 Sneak (Critical) for 44
My extra attack has advantage and was a 26 (Critical and Sleeping) and did 8 Sword (Critical), 2 STR, 16 Fire(Critical) for 26.
Doing 70 points of damage.

That is assuming I used the same rolls for fire and did not reroll them on second attack. And assuming we double the numbers and not rolling a new set for crits. Or should I roll new dice for fire on second attack and then double for the crit?

I know it doesn't matter now, but for in the future.

OOC:
As a note, all attacks against a sleeping foe are critical, so long as you're within 5ft of them.

OOC:
You roll damage one time for each hit. You would also roll fire damage for each hit. I would rather you roll 1d10+2 and not 1d10 and then add in your strength as a separate damage. Your sword does 1d10+2 when used two-handed, so that is what roll you should use. If it is a critical hit, you would double the actual sword damage then add the 2. I know it is pretty much the same thing, but when trying to track all of the hits and their damages, I would prefer to see the damage rolls as per your character sheet. In your case, your damages should have been 1d10+2 (sword), 1d10+2 (sword), 2d6 (fire), 2d6 (fire), 3d6 sneak. The sword damage score and your sneak attack damage would be doubled because of the critical.

Anyway, you should always roll a separate roll for each type of damage. Weapon, Fire and Sneak if applicable.

After seeing the ferocious onslaught of his companions, Ælfric merely nodded at their efficiency in murdering sleeping giants.

"Perhaps you won't drown in giants' blood just yet," he thought about his rapier.
OOC:
After that barrage... Damn.

Already thinking of the next path, Korgazhar looked at Julian, "Left or right side door? Not main unless we want to fight 20 of them. Wait for them to get drunk and disperse. For now, we want to get to the mystery room you could not see? Or we want to go down to the lower level first?"
Mar 25, 2019 4:07 am
"Freeing the orcs down there would add chaos to the mix," Ælfric added.
Mar 25, 2019 4:10 am
"Go to the right, and we might uncover information. Go to the left, and we might head downward to liberate your kin, and lead them against the giants. Even now, Ligeia waits outside with the weapons we bought. I see no reason not to follow through with this plan."

Even as they discus their plans, Julian moves his eye through each door to see what lies just beyond.
OOC:
Edit: Seems Ælfric and I are on the same page. :D

"Any sign of your Drow sorceress or her handiwork, Julian?"
Mar 25, 2019 4:26 am
Best we open gate. as she recalls it isn't and there isn't fast out for some us unless they jump off the tower.
Mar 25, 2019 4:29 am
"Opening the gate will require using one of Alain's most powerful spells. For now, the gate can wait."
Mar 25, 2019 4:39 am
"Information first. Then chaos to cover our escape." Korgazhar waited for assent, before moving towards the right side door.
Mar 25, 2019 4:43 am
"I would prefer to gain allies... or cannon fodder... but I am willing to seek more information first."
Mar 25, 2019 5:03 am
Fernal gets out her shield and move right with Koraghar to the right door. Kill giants. She is simple and clear.
Mar 25, 2019 8:32 am
"Very well, either works. Lead the way." Majob'e let Aelfric move forward.

Julian
Quickly checking the other two doors, you see an empty hallway beyond the door nearest them. As you slip under the western door, however, you spy a trio of ogres coming toward you, perhaps 10' from the door itself.
Mar 25, 2019 11:20 pm
"Enemies approach from the far door. Prepare yourselves. I will try to incapacitate them. From there, eliminate them together, and one at a time, lest you break the charm."
OOC:
As soon as the ogres reveal themselves, Julian will cast Hypnotic Pattern on the lot of them. Hopefully this in combination with the surprise round will be enough to take them all out before they have an opportunity to alert others.
