Heyop was a former soldier grunt turned ranger for a wild life reserve area. Imperial is on the other side of the fence though.

ok, so the concept I have is a former TIE pilot who discovered he could use the Force and decided to desert before the ISB could "question" him. there's more to it, but that's the basic concept. sound good?
