You parents or caregivers were so thrilled that you had been chosen. Your farewells were full of mixed emotions. Sadness at leaving your loved ones, fear of entering the unknown, excitement at the opportunity of fullfilling all of your childhood dreams.
But like all dreams, the reality was quite different. You did not expect to see your Jedi caregivers turn you over to a strange middle aged Nautolan hermit. Nor did you expect to spend the next twelve years living in seclusion on a strange world, devoid of the comforts of modern technology raised by a single man who seemed to express no emotion at all.
It was a tough life, and you all reacted to it differently. The one time you all enjoyed was learning the history of the Jedi Order. Every evening, Master Selak would regale you with stories of the famous Jedi of the past. Great philosopher kings, Warrior poets and fantastic healers were all an important part of your new heiritage.
Today, you all stand at atrention in the meditation chamber of your home. You see an interesting blend of electric systemss stripped from your shuttle, and various flaura and fauna moving about the cave. Some for aesthetic purposes and others for meditative ones. You master insisted that you be surrounded by living things at all times as a reminder that the force is a living force and generated by life itself.
Today, was an important day. You knew this but you're not sure how you knew it.
Master Selak adresses you all
Greetings Younglings,
Today, is the last time I will call you that. From today onwards, you will be Padawan learners. He waited a moment to let that sink in.
You have spent the past twleve years learning what it means to be a Jedi. You now know the theory and it is time to put that theory into practice. Do you all remember the first time you felt the force calling to you?
For your first post, I want you to write a flashback detailing your first exposure to the force. It could have been an extremely fortunate event, you could have forseen the future, something could have moved according to your will, or a sentient or non-sentient animal could have behaved how you wanted but in a strange way, or of course, you could have done something physically impossible.
