As the last of the darkness is released, you find yet another figure in the last cell. A slim individual with fair skin and flowing, billowy hair lies beaten, bruised and chained to the far wall.

"liantë avalê." Julian called into the room to free the bound figure, moving across the room to help them to their feet. "Come. Help me to ensure no one else will suffer as you have."

Fernal moved along as the cells unlocked and darkness released. Hmmm What do we have here? as she spot yet another cell mate.

OOC:
I always use dark elf and Drow interchangeably. In this instance, not a good thing. :P I've changed my previous comment to 'dark elf'.

Sister Ashar tries to observe the inside of each cell as Julian dispels the darkness and silence, moving from one to the next. Now she stands at the entrance to the last cell and observes as Julian sets the captive free. "A new dawn has come friend...." Dwendylin offers her own reassurance. "They have kept you alive as well, and kept you silenced...so I will assume that you represent some threat to them."
May 21, 2019 11:34 pm
"Threats to them are not necessarily boons to us," he thought.

Ælfric stayed back. letting the others inspect the cells' contents. His face was beginning to show signs of impatience since he could feel his spell running out.

"So the giant bastards know we're here? Why haven't we been squished yet? What purpose could us killing their people serve? Ridding them of inept servants?" Ælfric asked.

"I am sure your questions will be answered soon enough." Ashar responds to the nervous elf.

Seeing as Julian and their new companion had their last cell covered, Korgazhar watched the entrance to the cell compound instead, moving a little to keep guard there. While they gained new companions, they were no closer to finding the orcs.

As you speak the words once again, the chains on this new figure fall away and you manage to help them up. He appears to be male, not human, with a lustrous skin and billowing hair that looks almost cloud like. There are bruises and scars over his back, chest, arms and legs, a testament to the torture he has been through.

They'd been here for a bit, so Korgazhar scanned the room outside to see if anyone was coming to check on them. The bugbear called for someone it referred to as The Keeper after all.

The prisoner stirs in the cell, eyes rising to meet the gaze of his rescuers. He attempts to speak before a painful sensation on his lip and tongue remind him of his final impediment. With a slight grimace he slowly removes a needle from his mouth, tossing it aside.

"Tunk-ahem, excuse me; thank you darlings. The assistance is much appreciated. Oh dear" He says as he looks down at his tarnished appearance.

With an utterance and a flourish of his hair his visage is restored to its lustrous quality. His fine clothing: his pastel silvery-blue robes accented with golden trim and adornments shine, his coppery skin almost glows with a warm brilliance, his hair almost a billowy radiant cloud seemingly imbued with the essence of light, unhindered by the tug of gravity takes the concept of a silver lining and runs, and his eyes shine a heartwarming, luminescent molten gold that is as soothing as it is captivating.

With a nod, a slight bow he smiles

"I'm Ambrosia. An absolute pleasure to meet you."

Dwendylin smiles warmly at Ambrosia. "I am Sister Ashar....may the light always be with you." Dwen already suspects the light is with this one, in ways even a faithful of the sun god cannot fully understand. She studies the map given to her by Julian once more and looks to the others. "What is our next course of action?"
May 23, 2019 11:59 pm
Korgazhar did not spot any untoward movement outside the cells, so he turned back to acknowledge the other prisoner they had rescued. This one had a magical shimmer about him, a bit more otherworldly in nature. "I'm Korgazhar. We didn't come here on a rescue mission, but you will find yourselves useful as we proceed. More dangers to come. We seek the orc slaves, if either of you know where they are. If not, I suggest we head towards the passage that leads to the caverns." The half-orc pointed to a spot on the map.
OOC:
I'd refer to the map, but have problems opening it at the moment.

I think move best. She points to the map, Which way?

"I know not where these slaves are, but you have my aid in seeking them. I owe you that much at least." Dwendylin agrees with Korgazhar's plan to go towards the caverns. "The light is with us." She balls her right hand into a fist and touches it gently to her forehead in gesture to the sun god.

What spell did Ambrosia cast? Prestidigitation, I assume? Or something else? I want the newcomers to remember that you have none of your gear, so only spells with V,S are able to be cast right now.
May 24, 2019 12:41 am
"I'm Ælfric, Ambrosia. Why did the giants imprison you? And how can you aid us in ridding this place of them?"
May 24, 2019 1:51 am
"You had some number of things on you when you were captured. For now, take these." Julian tossed each of them a spear from Ligeia's pack. "Pray we won't need them anytime soon."
OOC:
When Julian spent a few hours scouting the keep, did he see anything in the area that looked like a storage closet, or something where the equipment these two must have had at some point would be stored? This is 100% investigation so adding that.

"There's also bugbear armour and weapons, if you are prepared to use them for now." Korgazhar gestured at the dead bodies.

You recall seeing gear tossed everywhere, including the torture area and what looked like a smithy manned by a pair of huge reddish-black skinned giants with fiery-colored hair.
