The bugbear and first ape come charging into the small cell block. The second ape charges at Ligeia, but is battered back with the hooves of the majestic winged steed. Seeing your summoned fey deal a swift strike the ape's head, Julian, you release your spell and extract even more of the life force from the ape, and you see it stagger from the two swift attacks.

As the bugbear rushes Korgazhar, it does not see Fernal in the cell, and as it passes you your razor-thin blades slash and jab it, cleaving muscle and bone, staggering it. It cries a death cry as it continues to charge, but th egauntlet is not yet run as it takes a second series of attacks by Aelfric, stumbling and near death as it runs its last steps. Before Korgazhar can finish it off, the arcane mark placed on it by Aelric flashes brightly, sending a sonic boom through the inside of the creature, bursting its heart and other internal organs as it collapses on the floor.

The ape, seeing its comrade fall, leaps at the half-orc, but your blade is too fast, as you carve through the thick muscle and sinew of the raging primate. It spins, death in its eyes, but falls to the flashing light from above, incinerated with the holy light called down by Dwendylin.

Poking his head out to take his turn, your new comrade Ambrosia sees he is too late to help with the bugbear, but sees the other ape still standing.
OOC:
Before I finish the round, I am assuming that Ambrosia will want to redirect the spell toward the ape?

Well that was crap. :/ Top of the order. Everyone can go.

Korgazhar grunted in satisfaction as the bugbear and the ape went down quickly. He stepped forward to bring down the last ape before it could further attack the pegasus, knowing full well that a greater threat lay outside.

Just in case the others hadn't already massacred the second simian, Ælfric traded his rapier for his longbow.

"Besides," he thought as he fired an arrow at the ape, "I don't think I can go toe to toe with that big bastard outside. Best to pepper him with arrows from a distance."
OOC:
If the ape's already down, can I save the arrow?

As Julian's allies slaughter the more immediate threat, he mutters an incantation. A twisting pattern of colors that weave through the air appears around the hill giant known only to them as "The Keeper", hypnotically swirling about him before vanishing in an instant.
OOC:
Casting Hypnotic Pattern on The Keeper. Wisdom Save DC 17 or become charmed, incapacitated, and lose all movement speed for the 1 minute duration or until damage is taken.

Julian would be directly south of Korgazhar based on the specific movement I made on my previous turn. Also thanks, I'll redact my last post and wait till you give the go ahead. :)

As the ape is eviscerated by the party, you can here the clomping of booted feet in the large entry room. More bugbears arrive. From somewhere you also hear a large gong sounding. A deep-throated, raspy voice calls out in broken common.

"No escape! Come to be dinner!"
OOC:
Corrected the monster type... dunno why I said hobgoblins

Actual spots aren't that relevant just yet, as combat has concluded. I just wanted to be sure the map was updated before any further actions were posted.
