Keeper's Held Action - Last minion goes down.
As the last ape falls and you all begin to regroup for the new foes, a whizzing sound can be heard as the Keeper launches a huge stone into the cell block. It clatters off of the walls, striking Julian squarely in the chest with a sickening crunch.
OOC:
This action occurs at the end of the round, before any movement or actions against the bugbears. Fernal-1, Aelfric-2, Julian-3, Korgazhar-4. The stone strikes Julian solidly, for 42 HP of bludgeoning damage. I'll need a DC 17 Strength check to keep from getting knocked prone (unless you are out from the blow).

Rolls

Keeper Attack on who? - (1d4)

Keeper Rock Attack - (1d20+9)

OOC:
Ok, we will go back to the top of the order. I currently have Ambrosia casting Faerie Fire on the Bugbears Korgazhar moving to engage, Aelfric using his bow, Dwendylin following Korg and casting Scorching Ray, Fernal joining Korg, and Julian, pending his save, casting Hypnotic pattern.

I'll post an updated map and full description shortly, so we can continue. Sorry I was delayed. Work issues had me sidetracked yesterday and today. I'm getting caught up now.

Julian, knocked prone by the massive hunk of stone thrown by the keeper, decides staying down might be the best course of action as he begins to cast his spell.

Choosing to fail this save. Just gonna lay here at 10hp for a minute. Gonna do some prone-casting.

The bugbears hoot and howl, issuing threats and challenges to you all as they charge at the cell block. As they rush forward, suddenly some of them begin glowing, a glittering light outlining them as the Faerie Fire cast by Ambrosia comes into effect. Korgazhar, Fernal and Dwendylin race forward to meet the threat, the warrior priestess unleashing a blast of scorching flame at the twisted Keeper. The flames strike true, but not before the lord of the level throws yet another rock, this one aimed at Fernal.

The barbarian is too quick, however, and she raises her shield to deflect the stone away. The jarring blow numbs your arm, but you manage to engage the first bugbear in melee.
OOC:
Bugbears all move. 2 and 5 require a dash to get to position. All 5 bugbears all are alight with Faerie Fire, as their new position would allow Ambrosia to include them all. I auto-failed #5's save to make up for my slow posting this combat.. Advantage on attacks versus them. Julian, let me know if you wish to abandon your spell in favor of another. 40 HP damage to the Keeper by Scorching Ray.

Keeper Stone Throw Attack on Fernal - (1d20+9)

[ +- ] Keeper Combat - Round 3
Jun 11, 2019 9:05 pm
Savage Fernal attacks with her flaming sword. She is stilling holding back and not raging yet. Snears at the one for throwing a rock at her. She is eyeing the keeper and looks for a way to rush him as he is in her kill range of movement (50') if there wasn't so many in the way.
OOC:

Thanx for the advantage on attacks.
Looks like first attack (17) for 23 damage and extra attack (20) for 21 damage.

Though each breath brings stabbing pain, Julian manages to finish his incantation before calling out to the others. "Do not strike those who fall prey to the lights, lest you rouse them from their trance."

Positioning the hypnotic pattern thusly to strike the rear 3 bugbears and the keeper. Using movement to roll/crawl into the cell next to me if possible.

Seeing the massive injury inflicted upon the Dream Seer by the boulder, Dwendylin withholds her ire from the Keeper momentarily, and rushes over to lend assistance. She lets her hand rest gently where he was struck (presumably his ribs) and intones a soft plea in the tongue of angels (V/S). "Flesh be whole." A corona of golden light surrounds her hand and soothes the damaged area.

Korgazhar was about to call out a challenge to the Keeper, in response to his taunt, when he observed the spells directed at their enemies by Ambrosia and Julian. The magic made it very clear whom the half-orc needed to strike down first, in order to clear a path to the giant behind.
OOC:
DM, Korg gets an opportunity attack from Polearm Master when the bugbear #2 enters his reach. If it dies from the damage, Great Weapon Master lets Korg attack the adjacent bugbear as a bonus action. So I'm going to roll for two possible bonus action options: PAM attack on bugbear#2 if not dead, GWM attack on bugbear#1 if #2 is dead.
Rerolling 1s and 2s on damage from GWF.
Damage summary if all attacks hit: 73 damage to bugbear #2. If dead, 44 crit damage to bugbear #1. If not dead, 21 additional damage to #2.
Oh yes, move action if both bugbears are dead, Korg will close the distance. Northernmost square marked by Julian's green square.

Dwendylin
I just noticed that you are ahead of the turn.... The Keeper was the last to go in the round, when he hit Julian with the rock. The actions already spoken for this round are: Ambrosia Faerie Fire, Dwendylin Scorching Ray, and Julian Hynotic pattern. I also have Fernal reeking havoc on one of the bugbears and now Korgazhar's attack. You are free to change your healing next turn if you want, or we will keep it if you choose.

Korgazhar
Everyone has already moved to reach the point I have on the current map. Next turn you may then move again to attack.

All
With everyone posting their actions during the day, it is easy to get lost in the shuffle. That's why I try to do it as a group. The groups we have right now are: Bugbears (Init 20), Ambrosia (Init 17) Keeper (Init 14), Everyone else (Init 11-6). For this turn, the bugbears just moved into place. 2 and 5 get no attacks as they dashed. Other actions are stated as above. Which means that only Aelfric has yet to post his attack. Once he does, I will post the full turn result, adjust the map as necessary, and begin the bugbear attack turn. When they are done, Ambrosia will be up.... etc etc.

Sorry it got muddled.

Sorry I thought it was a new round. May I hold that as my action for next round if nothing too drastic changes?
