Fernal unleashes a savage barrage of attacks on the snarling bugbear before you, and it is all the beast can do to keep from falling under the onslaught. Survive it does, however, and though bloodied and bleeding, it stands its ground against you.
OOC:
33 HP damage to Bugbear #3Jun 21, 2019 7:45 pm
Seeing Korgazhar moving toward him and his initial battery of bugbears all but defeated, the Keeper launches another rock, this time at Fernal, and then greets the incoming half-orc with a swing of his axe.
More sensing than seeing, Fernal ducks as the heavy stone clatters into the wall behind her, shaking dirt and dust all around her from the impact. Likewise, Korgazhar manages to avoid the massive axe as it whistles past his head.

Ælfric felt the arcane speed course through him but politely declined its call, though he did accept the false life that now shielded him.
"I'm best used shooting from a distance, Ambrosia, but thank you."

You all watch as Korgazhar rushes headlong into the massive hill giant, the Keeper, ducking under the massive axe and cleaving three quick blows into him. With a roar, the wounded giant stumbles back a step, his voice yelling up the stairs "Uvenir! Uvenir! Kom! itrewic vhira tenpiswo jaka!"
OOC:
I still have Dwendylin, Julian and Aelfric pendingJun 24, 2019 9:51 pm
OOC:
The giant is 10' from Korghazar, technically, as that is the reach of the half-orc's glaive... unless he elects to move closer. I haven't updated the map based on Ambrosia's influence and player responses, but I assumed K would stop once within glaive range.Jun 24, 2019 9:52 pm
OOC:
Dwen follows through with her action to heal Julian and move back closer to Korg, or has that already resolved?Jun 24, 2019 10:43 pm
With new enemies incoming, Ælfric had to free up the blade-wielders to repel them. He rushed to the cell block door, surveyed the scene, fired an arrow into the hopefully now dead bugbear next to Fernal, then retreated to the cell with Ambrosia again.
OOC:
Attacking Bugbear 3.Rolls

Korgazhar and one or two of the others understand Giant. I assume he's calling for reinforcements. A silence spell would be perfect here lol Jun 25, 2019 10:55 am

10' is close enough thank you, in case the Keeper gets all huggy on Korgie. :)Jun 25, 2019 12:29 pm
Fernal, Korgazhar
You understand the Keeper to be yelling Intruders! Intruders! Come! Get down here now!

Dwendylin
Imbued with the energy provided by your new comrade Ambrosia, you rush to the aid of fallen Julian, who lies crumpled in a small heap at the rear of the cell block. With a prayer to your lord, you lay hands upon him, sending the healing light through his body, knitting the cracked bones and pummeled flesh.Aelfric
Feeling the invigorating warmth provided by Ambrosia, you elect to remain within the cell block, darting out to launch arrows at the bugbear weaving and wobbling before Fernal. Unfortunately, the barely-standing creature zigs and zags just as your arrow flies past, missing and shattering against the far wall.
You can see the reinforcement bugbears spreading out, some running toward the cell block, others running to the aid of the Keeper.

I still have Julian as having an action this turn. Otherwise, back to the top! Also, I am sorry this has gone slowly. Work this past week has been pretty busy, so my normal lunch time gaming has been hampered. :/load next
