Insightful fighting check against one of the upcoming bugbears to get advantage on it vs its deception. She is picking her next target.

So I"m guessing in her rage she stepped over the dead body of the bugbear there and advanced on the next one with those blows and I will roll her second attack.
OOC:
Crit does another 12 to it

OOC:
As a note, Insightful fighting does not grant advantage against enemies. It only allows you to use sneak attack without advantage, and not if you have disadvantage.

OOC:
If the bugbear Ligeia moved to attack died, she will move to intercept one of the incoming bugbears instead. Say, number 8. Julian maintains his attack against the keeper. As for this turn...
Julian extends his hand, and from the wide sleeves of his cloak flies forth a familiar raven. The bird flies towards the keeper, fluttering about its eyes and pecking at his face. Meanwhile, the bell continues to toll for the keeper as Ligeia valiantly fights off the approaching bugbears.
OOC:
Lenore: Help Action. Next attack against the keeper is made with advantage.
Julian: Toll the Dead. Wis Save 17 or 11 Necrotic Damage
Ligeia: Hooves attack! 14 to hit, 11 damage

Ambrosia perks up at the request, always happy to give repeat performances to such an eager audience

"Haha, sure thing big boy! Just give that loud one my regards as repayment for his hospitality!"

With another clap his Celestial tongue rings out "Time for an encore!", golden flecks of stardust swirling around the Keeper and his bugbears.
OOC:
At your discretion DM, Ambosia will target the enemies in a 20ft square, rotated a bit so as to fit the Keeper and bugbears 7, 8, and 9 (going through diagonals) without hitting Korgazhar with Faerie Fire, 60ft range, DEX Save 17 or advantage for 1 minute

Added rerolls and edited my earlier posted turn, now that Ambrosia has taken his actions. Korgazhar's actions would have been based off the success of Faerie Fire.

Looking to see if my 14 hit since I didn't have advantage so there is no crit or 29 rolled on second attack.

Ambrosia steps out for a moment, weaving her magic and casting it out across the battle going on in the lower chamber. All around the keeper and his new defenders, more of the familiar sparkling lights appear, catching the hill giant and two of the three bugbears. With a roar, the Keeper swings a massive battle ax at his half-orc antagonist, but Korgazhar manages to duck away and avoid any damage.

Ligeia rushes past the fallen bugbear and strikes out at the newly-arrived guard, but fails to connect as the bugbear snarls a smile, licking his lips in anticipation. From behind the pegasus streak several beams of light, all aimed at the massive hill giant Keeper, and searing into his flesh once again. The flames burn deep, obviously hurting him, and Lenore arrives to flap about the giant, trying to get his attention.

Get it he does, as the giant tries to swat Lenore away, leaving himself open for a killing blow by Korgazhar. With a loud challenge, the half-orc buries his glaive into the throat of the giant, severing it and sealing his fate. The life fades from the Keeper's eyes as the great ax slips from his grim and he falls sideways to the floor. All around him the bells of Julian's spell toll, speeding the keeper along his death march. The floor shakes under the shock of the Keeper's fall, dust and dirt falling down around everyone. The bugbears take a moment to duck at the falling debris, which saves one of them from the deadly aim of Aelfric's arrows, as they thunk into the wooden beams behind it.

Meanwhile, fernal moves up to greet the next bugbear to arrive (#10). She cries her people's war cry, but the thick hide and armor sported by the bugbear repel her attack and he drives her back.
OOC:
End of the round. Keeper falls. Aelfric, Fernal and Ligeia all miss their attacks, Bugbears are up, followed by Ambrosia, arriving fire giants, then Ligeia, Dwendylin, Julian, Fernal, Korgazhar then Aelfric. Please wait to post until your turn. Will be as respondant as possible.

The new bugbears rapidly recover from the fall of the Keeper, especially as the heavy footfalls from the southern tunnel get closer. Korgazhar can see a pair of armed and armored giants, their flame-colored hair and deep red skin telling him all he needs to know. The trio of guards swing their morningstars at the warrior, while the other two assault Fernal and Ligeia.
OOC:
Bugbears #6, #7 and #9 attack Korghazar, #10 attacks Fernal and #8 attacks Ligeia

The dice roller didn't add the +3 damage from the bugbears, so here are the results:

Bugbear #6 Hits Korg for 13 + 21 = 34
Bugbear #7 Hits Korg for 17
Bugbear #9 Hits Korg for 10 + 11 = 21
Total piercing damage = 34+17+21 = 72

Rolls

The bugbear before you whips his morningstar at you and you manage to duck one of the blows but not the other. With a sickening crunch of bone and a jarring pain running through your shoulder, you get slammed into by the heavy morning star.

As you all battle the bugbears, you hear heavy footfalls to the south, and see now what Korgazhar saw a second ago. Two giants approaching from the south.
OOC:
Ambrosia is up, Ligeia on deck, Dwendylin in the hole (for you baseball fans). The giants are merely huge shadows right now, just out of sight in the southern tunnel. I'll update the map later if I can.
Jul 8, 2019 9:10 pm
Seeing the viciousness with which the bugbears assault the half-orc, Dwendylin's brows furrow with concern and concentration. "Korgazhar!" She clasps her hands in prayer again, this time focusing hard as she sends a desperate plea unto the Shining One. "Hear my plea." Then she speaks an invocation in the tongue of angels once again as she places her hand on Korgazhar to heal him. "Flesh be whole." The corona of light around her hand is even brighter than before when she was healing the Dreamseer.
OOC:
Burning a 5th level slot to cast Cure Wounds on Korgazhar. As part of her action she steps back after healing, staying well out of the way of the melee Korg is embroiled in, if doing so is possible without provoking AoOs.
