No, the fire is extinguished.

Korgazhar
The Keeper’s axe is giant-sized, so you would be at a disadvantage wielding it.
Aug 9, 2019 5:01 pm
Korgazhar
The fire giant roars in challenge and begins rushing toward you, his incredible large great sword glinting in the flickering torch light. At the last instant, however, he veers right and moves right to Fernal!
OOC:
Fire Giant DASH to get within 5' of Fernal. Fernal, make a DC 19 Strength saving throw to avoid being knocked prone. Ligeia and Julian are up!

Fernal
The fire giant bears down on you, and though you prepare for it, the shear size and weight if the brute overwhelms you, sending you sprawling prone.
Aug 10, 2019 2:40 am
Ligeia holds her ground, ready to move at a moment's notice at her master's command.
OOC:
She's holding the Dash action, which should allow her to move up to 90ft on someone else's turn. Might do this if the bugbear charges, or is slain. Might do this if anything else comes too close for comfort.
Julian continues to drain the bugbear's life-force, hoping to slay it so that he can move to a more advantageous position where he can better aid his allies.
OOC:
Toll the Dead on Bugbear 5. DC 17 WisSave or 14 necrotic damage.

Julian
The bugbear grimaces as he sees you casting, but manages to shrug off the effects of your incantation. With a roar of challenge, he begins padding toward you.
OOC:
Ack! Sorry, I skipped Dwendylin. As compensation, the gods deem your next action will be with advantage! Dwendylin is up!
Aug 14, 2019 10:34 pm
At the bugbear threatening to charge Julian, Dwendylin raises her hands once more and unleashes a volley of hot, concentrated sun beams. Again she speaks in celestial "Spite of the sun, magnify!"
OOC:
Casting Scorching Ray at 2nd level at the Bugbear going for Julian. I suspect my fire attacks might be slightly useless against these fire giants. Will have to think of something else

Rolls

Aug 15, 2019 12:26 pm
Dwendylin
The flaming bolts engulf the badly wounded bugbear, and before he can take a step he is consumed by the magical flames. Screeching a horrifically high-pitched scream, the guard collapses to the floor, his body crackling and giving off a thick, dark smoke as it boils. The flames begin to lick up the walls for a brief moment, scarring them black, but the wood fails to ignite and the the flames die out.
OOC:
12 HP fire damage kills bugbear #5. Fernal is up!, Korgazhar goes after her.

Fire Giant Deception Check
The giant succeeds in keeping his attack and defense hidden from you. No advantage on your attack.

Rolls

Fire Giant Deception - (1d20+1)

(8) + 1 = 9

Aug 15, 2019 6:13 pm
Fernal stands up after eye'ing over the fire giant calls to Korgazhar, Others coming stairs. Kill giant fast.
OOC:
Fernal uses have her movement to stand up. She is delaying her action awaiting Korgazhar to join in the attack so she can use her sneak attack.
Aug 16, 2019 1:02 am
"More giants coming from the stairs! Start moving out of the jail! Julian find us a corridor to move to or a door to enter!" Korgazhar barked out his commands. They had to move, unless they intended to continue fighting a pitched battle here until all the giants in the building where drawn to them.
Then, turning to the giant that had charged Fernal, Korgazhar flanked it from behind to see what advantage he could get, and to draw the giant's attention to him so that Fernal could get back up and use her sneakier techniques.
OOC:
Rerolling 1s and 2s from GWF
Edit: no idea why the system generated 4d10/4d4 for my 1d10/1d4 rolls. GM, ignore whichever results don't make sense.

Fernal
With the half-orc distracting the massive fire giant, you manage to dart in and quickly slice at its thick legs. Your blade bites deeply, but incredibly you see that the flames along your weapon do nothing to the thick, red flesh.

Korgazhar
You step to the right, closer to the stairs, and the giant turns to look at you. Your axe slams deeply into the giant's thigh, eliciting a roar of pain from him. Ripping it out, a chuck of flesh coming with it, you strike again and again. One of your blows deflects off of the giant's crude metal armor, but the third bites deeply, causing the giant to roar in pain yet again. He stumbles backward, dropping his blade as he reaches for his leg, and you realize that you must have struck a crippling blow!

Blood pumps out rhythmically from a severed artery, and you watch as the giant visibly pales. His eyes roll back, and he collapses to the floor.
OOC:
Fernal hits for 26 damage (12 fire ignored) and Korgazhar follows with 28 damage. The fire giant falls! Aelfric is up!
Aug 16, 2019 4:12 pm
Fernal crys out I-chi and is looking for more victims as foam drops from her mouth.
OOC:
Surprise that fire giant went down. Fernal does have movement to burn and just can't help herself to kill more.
Aug 16, 2019 4:30 pm
OOC:
Korg and Ambrosia did nearly 100hp of damage to it earlier :)

Aso, now that the giant is down, can Korgazhar declare a move, since he was supposed to go after Fernal anyway, so it's still his turn?If so, he's moving in the direction of the other giant, aka full movement towards the south corridor.

Ælfric heard the call to move out, and he heeded it. Arrow ready, he rushed from the cells, moving up toward where Julian has headed. He realized it was most likely no good to try and convince Fernal to run, too, but his arrow was ready to assist her if necessary against the giant. Or giants.
Aug 16, 2019 6:02 pm
OOC:
There are still two bugbears in the area, #7 and #10. Korg, yes, you can move your full 30' south, though you will encounter the bugbears first. Fernal has 1/2 of her movement left, so where to?
