Zubak crumples to the deck. His pistol axes clattering. There's a loud KRAKKK!!! as the Strumpet starts to break apart.

What orders exactly, Ian? Are you maneuvering the Kestrel away from the Strumpet? Which direction:

-Sail up to 70ft (tailwind) straight ahead? Then turn (or not)?
-Turn 90 degrees to starboard and sail up to 55ft (crosswind) towards the dock.

In addition to the Kestrel's action, you still also have your own action.

Hearing Ian's commands, Zale makes for the Kestrel. Unsure if Zubak is dead or merely unconscious, the water genasi commands his elemental to grab the half-orc and bring him with them to their ship.

Zale tucks Zubak's pistol axes into his waistband and tries to swing over to the Kestel but he mistimes his leap, loses his grip, and belly-flops into the water. Luckily he is able to just run up the hull and land on deck with a sheepish grin.

Under Ian's command, the Kestel is returning to the dock.

Z-elemental is down in the water with no way to climb aboard. It has grappled/engulfed Zubak, who is now at 1hp and no longer stunned (he never fell unconscious -- I forgot about half-orc Relentless Endurance!).

Nela introducing the folding boat to tidal wave and the last of Strumpets bot can enjoy it too all the swimmers. Kitty sets down in a sphinx position on the deck watching.

Phillip sits back down unhappy that they either gave up or didn't want to come over and play. He turns his gaze back to the market with slight excitement for the possibility of finally getting more shirts.

The Mighty Duck swoops in and grabs Jineer in its webbed feet and returns her to the Kestrel placing her gently on the deck before turning back into a Wooden Duck.

And not a moment too soon! The Strumpet finally breaks in two flaming, gutted chunks. So much for taking her as a prize. Nela's wave batters the folding boat, McLootface and McDrafonface along with it, with not just a wall of water, but burning debris as well. The boat capsizes, reverts to its folded, boxlike shape. Both it and the silvered chest disappear beneath the waves.

OOC:

Combat over!

Zubak is alive (barely), engulfed in Z-Elemental.

If anyone's interested in the Folding Boat or Safford Stampes' chest, you'll have to act fast. The Kestrel is 55ft away from where they sank.

Like a frigate bird that spotted it's prey beneath the waves, Astrias folds her wings and makes a dive after the folding boat and silvered chest, while mentally commanding her Elemental-A to follow and assist her in carrying the loot.

Astrias and her elemental maneuver through sinking debris and drowned bodies with ease and retrieve the wodden box and the silvered chest.

All hands are now back on the Kestrel. Ian guides the ship smoothly back to port flanked by the two water elementals. Harold and the other Floating Market dudes look on in awe. Strumpet survivors are being taken into custody. Valrakas looks equal parts proud and pissed off.

Zubak is still stuck inside Z-Elemental. Apparently, the Strumpet's first mate can breathe underwater. He glares at everyone angrily, lightning sparking from his eyes. Better get him out of there, Zale. Your elemental can only take so much of this. (Z-Elemental at 96/114hp)

Zale has his elemental spit Zubak out onto the wharf. He keeps the pistol-axes aimed at the half-orc the whole time. If he makes a move he'll get a flurry of kicks in the head.

Nela finally relaxes and the water turn quickly back to normal. She call to Zale, How bad was the ship hurt. I'm sure Cap is going to be pissed. She walks over to Kitty and gives him a few fast strokes.

Astrias studies the box which she assumes to be the folding boat, but is particularly interested in the silvered chest which she tries to open. "I wonder what was so important." She thinks aloud.

Zubak does make a move, and so gets kicked in the head by Zale. (No need for rolls -- you knock him unconscious)

The chest is locked, and Astrias is unable to open it. If there's a key, it would probably be on Safford Stampes' corpse on the Kestrel, or on McLootface's corpse in Davy Jones' locker.

Zale, you remember McLootface uttering the command word for the folding boat. Do you share it with everyone?

The ship took some minor damage (Hull at 224/250hp) Valrakas scowls at the damage but doesn't complain as he is busy receiving praises from Harold and the other fogeys even though he didn't do anything. They promise free repairs and free drinks for the crew (in the form of not charging Nela for the booze she bought).
