The silvered chest contains:
• a velvet pouch containing 500gp worth of gems.
• a notebook filled with rude limericks and lewd drawings.
• a perfumed, silken handkerchief with one frayed corner.
There's more: tattooed on the sole of the dead man's left foot is a childishly drawn map. Checking the other foot, you fnd a second map. The two seem to be connected. Valrakas wrinkles his nose as he peers at the smelly, tattooed feet.
"What d'ye reckon, me hearties? Worth investigatin'?"
Harold and the other old salts rub their chins and offer different opinions on exactly where this treasure island might be found. They argue for a long while but come to no consensus except that it's beyond the Great Gyre. They also warn that you should avoid the mermaids at all costs.
