Character creation

In any case, I've approved both new members of the Dungeon Busters organization: Manthis and Rosemary.

I am waiting until tomorrow to see if we get a third or fourth new player to join. Whether they do or not, I will introduce you into the game before the end of the day tomorrow. My take is that Olpert has sent word back to Cecily that the franchise has got off to a good start, and so Cecily is sending more heroes (the two of you, plus any others that might join) to Hochoch to support the rest of the team.

@Nebula - thank you for submitting Lady Anya. My comments:

- I encourage you to actually create a character sheet on GP. There are many advantages, particularly your being able to add rolls from your character sheet. Everybody has their favorite sheet to use. Here are some to use: D&D 5e sheets, Another 5e sheet

- please make the character sheet public.
- Protector is not a domain in 5e (it's in 2024)
- The Cure Wounds effect should be 1d8+3, not 2d8+3
- please make sure that Lady Anya's background is displayed somewhere; I'm not sure without looking it up which background provides the Religion and Insight skills
- Lady Anya should have a background trait, ideal, bond, and flaw

Basically she gets heavy armor from war domain instead of protector.

Will migrate to a GP sheet, was just using the character builder to help me get started.

Correct. At the moment, the only people who can see the character are players in this public game and following the direct link you provided.
Public characters appear in the Character Library.
Unfortunately, it's not obvious AT ALL in the GP UI how to make a character public.

To make a character public, you click/tap on "Characters" in the top nav, then select "All Characters" in the drop-down menu.
Find the character in the list of your characters. Click/tap the book icon ("Add to Library") for that character, so that the book icon turns red.

@Nebula - one last thing: is "Lady" a title/honorific, or is it the character's actual first name?

It's just a title, doesn't mean anything :)

@CancerMan @mathias0077 @matmaisan - I just remembered that your three PCs can immediately gain the HP from your new levels, IF you plan on gaining a level in the same class (monk, ranger, fighter, respectively). So, if you are going to gain a level in the same class and want to gain the HP now and do the rest of the leveling later when the characters are able to train, you may do so here. As usual, declare whether you will roll for HP or take the "average," then add your Constitution and other modifiers.

I do plan to gain the next level in Monk, so I will take the average HP increase. Aanbo will gain 5 +2 (CON) +1 (Dwarven Toughness) HP to be at 27 total.

I’ll be rolling Hp in true old school manner…
