Chulainn's arrow slams into Sanbalet's shoulder and he lets out an agonized scream before stumbling back behind the others, "Kill that bastard!" he shouts.

Round One
20 - Margot stands back to prepare for the enemy's assault, rapier ready to dispatch anyone that gets close.

19 - Lucan darts in and stabs the approaching bandit in the arm. The man squeals in pain, but manages to keep a hold on his weapon.

16 - Sanbalet growls and takes a few steps back before launching a trio of fiery rays at Chulainn. Only one of them actually hits its mark, though (23 vs AC. Damage: 5 fire).

15 - The archer ducks behind cover and fires an arrow at Lucan, grazing the man (16 vs AC. Damage: 3 piercing)

13 - Chulainn fires at the archer, but his aim is off as he suffers the effects of Sanbalet's scorching ray.

10 - The bandit slashes at Lucan, but his arm is weaker than he expects and his attack is easily parried.

9 - Pong swings at the hobgoblin as it approaches, but his aim is way off and his attack is ineffective.

5 - Eshe steps up at swings at the bandit, cutting the man down and making room for her to change positions with Lucan on the front line.

2 - The hobgoblin retaliates against Pong and is unable to land a blow against the tortle warrior.

22 - Chulainn nocks another arrow and fires at Sanbalet, but misses.

22 - Margot flings a dagger at the hobgoblin. The weapon sinks into the creature's thigh.

20 - Eshe swings her axe at the hobgoblin, but it easily ducks the blow.

17 - The hobgoblin takes another swing at Pong, but still can't land a solid hit.

9 - The archer fires an arrow at Eshe, who is distracted by the hobgoblin. His arrow goes far wide of the mark.

7 - Lucan launches another bolt of fire, targetting Sanbalet. The attack grazes the enemy wizard.

5 - Pong takes out the hobgoblin's knees and then crushes the monster's skull.

3 - Sanbalet, seeing things turn against him, raises his hands, "We surrender!" he calls out.

Lucan is holding his action, to send a firebolt against Sanbalet or the scout in case of aggression. He is to worked up to try and talk peacefully with anyone.
