OOC:
Please pardon my prolonged (and more importantly, unnannounced) absence! Alright, let's get back to it.
Rong Hua
Shen Xin has already told you everything you need to know. You have descriptions of both Atekhramun and Mei, and where they're most likely to be found if they're still in the city. With a messenger sent to Xian Feng's textile shop as requested, you make your way to the East Water Gate.
People and goods camp here, awaiting first light to ferry across the Perfumed Lake. The lake crossing is the very first step on the long and arduous journey southeastward regularly taken for trade both legitimate and illicit with Hiptos and Northern Aksum. There's talk of establishing a similar trade route westward to Cysegr and Pradesh, but the orc-infested Barrier Mountains would make such a journey very dangerous indeed!
You wind your way among the encampments. It smells faintly of camel dung here, but also of tea and fragrant spices. You hear half a dozen languages being spoken. A porter dances in time to an unfamiliar stringed instrument. You see no one matching your quarry's description.
What do you do?
Wu Meng
As you make your way to the lower east quarter to hunt down the notorious assassin, Zhao Xun, you feel a little bit like a fish out of water. These shadowy corners full of watchful eyes and poisoned blades are Rong Hua's specialty, not yours. Still, you try to make the best of it.
You locate the tea house where the steward, Geon, was seen with Zhao Xun. The food smells wafting from the place are surprisingly welcoming given the forbidding surroundings. The door slides open and a couple of patrons stumble into the street amid raucous laughter. Neither of them are Zhao Xun. You realize you are one of very few people living who have seen the Black Lotus' face.
The pair of drunken patrons wend their way down the street. There's no one else about.
What do you do?
Iko, Feng, and Wei
What, if anything, do you do about Tamchim's men as you make your way to Feng's shop?
