OOC:
I'm good next to Csillag. Eesh... uh... does three threat count as a despair pretty much? Also I'm on stun damage btw still.
Mal. Down. Suppressing. Heyop barks out seeing a Twi'lek he opts to take her out first incase she's just like Dagger.

Dagger leaves the Noghri and the Twi'lek behind -- trusting in his team to take care of those two while he moves deeper into the museum. He passes the (open) secure doors and turns around to close them before blasting the control panel. The Duros and the Togruta look up from where they are poking at a computer terminal to stare at Dagger in some surprise as he cuts off their only known way out of the museum.
OOC:
Dagger takes 2 strain for the extra maneuver
Heyop reaches the top of the stairs next to Csillag and fires the blaster carbine he's been toting around at the Twi'lek female. He hits -- and hits hard. Stunning her sufficiently to drop her to the ground, unconscious. However in doing so, he manages to trip on one of the stairs and falls to the ground, tossing his carbine accidentally over the balcony into the display area below...
OOC:
I'm using the three threat to try and cause you a moderately significant setback without it being whack-o-crazy.

#&$@_@! Heyop yells out gripping an empty fist.

As Csillag makes a comment to her colleague, the green-clad Noghri on the other side of the speeder lines up a shot and hits her with a Stun blast from his blaster carbine. He hits her several times, sufficient to drop Csillag unconscious on the ground next to her friend.

Meanwhile, inside the secure wing of the museum where Dagger has just sealed the doors shut, the Duros takes one look at Dagger and says into a commlink, "Uh... guys.... we have a situation here" then he heads deeper into the the wing, getting out of sight quickly. The Togruta says, "It's not polite to lock out our friends." and waves her arm. Dagger senses the tug of the Force -- but it's only momentary before the Togruta fires off a stun blast in his direction. Although the blast hits - Dagger has to dodge out of the way quickly, dropping his own blaster in the process.
OOC:
Mal, you're up next.

Dagger - incidental chatter is okay if you want.

Dagger grunts as he rolls away from the blast and loses his blaster. It's also not polite to shoot people who are just trying to talk to you, he says as he pulls out his lightsaber and activates the blade.

Now how about we have a friendly chat? Why are you here?

OOC:
if it's at all possible, I'd like to force leap all up in the noghri's kool-aid and disarm him by destroying his blaster. what kind of roll is that?

OOC:
Deleted my post. Consulting RAW.

Ok. Here's what I think is the story.

In structured time you can normally take 1 maneuver and 1 action. You can take 2 maneuvers if you opt to spend 2 strain or if you trade in your action for a maneuver. You may not take two 'actions'.

To aim to disarm you must take a maneuver. If you do this once you get 2 setback die on your attack action. If you do this twice you take just 1.

Force Leap is considered an 'action' and not a maneuver in RAW unless you have the final Control upgrade along the right-hand side which allows you to do it as a maneuver rather than an action. I believe this is meant to represent the relative "power" you'd have as a new Force user -- you need to concentrate to do this, rather than do it as naturally as walking. So you wouldn't be able to both Force Leap and attack.

I believe you'd be able to 'move' to engaged (you are at short range now, so this is doable). Then take 2 strain to 'aim'. Then roll to attack with your lightsaber which would be 2Pblackblack.

OOC:
I accept your logic. I'm doing just that
Mal sees an opening while the nogri is yelling into his communicator and darts out from behind the speeder to hopefully disarm the guy...

and failing to do so, Mal hopes he can recover his dignity by holding the saber out to the being's throat and intimidating him to stand down

drop the weapon and nobody has to get hurt.

I saber your carbine!

3 Success, 1 Advantage, 3 Failure, 2 Threat

Mal's actions put him at a slight disadvantage should the Noghri decide to take action (Noghri will get a boost against Mal due to the threat).
OOC:
Mal takes 2 strain. Heyop - I think it's your move, then Dagger's.

Dagger

The Togruta replies, "Two shiny swords in one day." before glancing around her cover. She adds, "I expect the same reason you are. Doing what it takes to survive."
Nov 4, 2016 8:11 pm
You could say that. By the way, where was your green friend going? Left in a hurry, Dagger asks.
Nov 5, 2016 8:10 pm
She replies, "Oh him? Probably smelled something delicious. He can't resist a good snack, even in the middle of a firefight."
Nov 6, 2016 1:52 am
With a chuckle, Dagger responds, You know, I could get to like you, if we weren't apparently trying to kill each other.
OOC:
It's not actually my turn to act yet, right?
Nov 6, 2016 3:12 am
OOC:
Well it's certainly not Csillag's :-)
Nov 6, 2016 5:17 pm
OOC:
officially it is Heyop's initiative.
Nov 7, 2016 11:44 am
She replies, "No one said we had to kill each other. I don't believe you ever told me your name, or what you're here for."
Nov 7, 2016 2:04 pm
Name's Jūbbin. We're here looking for an important artifact. Something of more sentimental value, rather than practical, I lie through my teeth.

I have no idea where I posted this since it didn't show up... might be in another game or I didn't actually post.
Heyop is about to say something back to Csillag when he's dropped in a hail of bolts. Heyop scrambles over high crawling and checks her vitals.

No, no, no, no, no! he thinks as he checks.

Exhaling he looks around with a sigh of partial relief. Dragging her into cover he yells out to Mal, "Keep him covered! C's down! Going to box him in." he barks rushing to get his carbine. \
OOC:
Action getting Csillag into cover and then making a beeline for my gun.
