Joka appears sufficiently threatening to the lunatic headed his way that the man stops in his tracks, confused. Joka's stern countenance is sufficient to cause cognitive dissonance and strain in his opponent.
OOC:

Heyop managed to whack his luckless target upside the head with the truncheon with a loud crunch. However, despite the blow, his opponent remains standing. Alas, Heyop's hit is not sufficient to disorient his target, Hotel.
OOC:
Hotel takes 9 - 4 = 5 damage. 4 left. 1 adv isn't enough to activate Disorient (requires 2). Will pass the adv as a boost to Marc -- sadly to no effect.
Csillag readies her lightsaber and gets into a defensive stance.

Csillag - I will interpret your move as a 'guarded stance' which upgrades your defense but adds a setback to your attack this round -- but since you're not choosing to attack it's a no-op.
Marc opts to smack the crazy before him, Mike, but in a flurry of blows, Mike manages to fend off the assault with his makeshift weapon. Marc over-exerts himself slight gently nudging a muscle in his hip for 1 Strain.

Mal readies his lightsaber and gets into a defensive stance.

Time for the crazies...
While many of their brethren stream out of the temple and head to the side corridors you hear Kaveri exclaim loudly from a hallway and the distant voice of Dagger saying, "Hey!" above the din. Urik is downstairs meditating in his quarters, so he may be well unaware of what's afoot. Luckily, Hethan Romund is off to the village and thus not likely to be beaned by one of these escaped....whatevers.

Joker, opposite Joka, stands in a stupor, considering his next move carefully.

Hotel offers to return the favor to Heyop, swinging with his makeshift club. He connects with Heyop with a couple of lucky jabs, knocking the wind out of him a little. However, he finds himself out of position a bit as a result of his eager and suffers some strain getting back into position.
OOC:
Heyop - 5 + 2 = 7 damage - 4 soak = 3 damage 11/14 wounds remain. Hotel has a setback on his next action. Hotel down to 3 W / S threshold remaining.
Charlie and Cisco each lay into Csillag with their cobbled-together weapons. Charlie lands a particularly incisive blow on Csillag's temple, causing her to see stars. While Cisco fails to connect, Charlie's blows help him get the drop on Csillag for his next attack!
OOC:
Csillag takes 7 - 3 soak = 4 wounds. 8/12 remaining. Charlie's next attack is upgraded against Csillag and gets a boost from his Advantage. Cisco gets a boost to his next action from advantage.
Mike, fresh from fending off Marc's blows lays into him and manages to connect there, as well, but the Prince manages to shrug off the assault without taking anything other than a minor bruise.

Marc's damage is 7 - 7 soak = 0 damage. Marc - I used the soak from your robes -- but have disregarded other effects for the moment pending further conversation. Mike gets a boost die from his advantage on his next attack.
Delta (from Mal's last name) also attempts to beat down the former Imperial pilot. Despite several intent swings, Mal's able to dodge each and everyone one. However Delta gains superior positioning from which his next attack will benefit.

Trying to remain calm after taking a vicious smack to the head Csillag steadies her saber and thrusts it quickly forward at Charlie and then brings her blade back into a defensive position.

EDIT 2: Just realized one can Aim a melee attack. Have to remember that for next round!

Basically making an attack and then moving into a guarded stance which will add a setback to her next attack but gain a melee defense of 1.

Note that I did melee defense wrong - I thought it upgraded attack difficulty, and instead it adds a setback. So i'll adjust what I do in the next round. It's basically "melee cover".

3 ADV is pretty useful. You can upgrade your next attack - downgrade someone's attack on you, maybe cause him to drop his weapon... thoughts?

Heyop grunts as he takes the hits using his truncheon to absorb the brunt.

Activating Parry Rank I to absorb the 3 damage at the cost of -2 Strain
Heyop flips his Truncheon up in the air while he pulls his pistol rapidly flicking the setting to stun changing his stance and narrowing his body as he aims and shoots at his attacker.

Edit: I'll spent the Adv on Strain recovery if possible while I clench.

Urik peers around a doorway. He slowly and carefully made his way up the corridor from the living quarters, and is now surveying this scene of chaos. He pulls the blaster pistol he took off one of the mercenaries in the temple (feels like a lifetime ago), and fumbles with the unfamiliar weapon. Seeing that his companions are using stun weapons, and avoiding lightsabers, he finds the switch to thumb the blaster in to stun mode.

He takes a deep breath, and closes his eyes for a moment, willing himself to calm, grateful that he does not have to make a choice. That his vow to himself can remain intact.

He finds his most beleaguered companion, and fires on these strange opponents facing them.
OOC:
Urik is going to shoot for stun damage. He is targeting the enemies facing whoever looks like they are in the most trouble right now. I'm assuming I kind of get a surprise round here. Insert me into initiative wherever is appropriate (or I can roll for it).

Well, not the dramatic entrance I'd hoped for. I'd like to use those advantages to help out whoever is having the most trouble; upgrade the difficulty if its the bad guys turn, adding a blue if its a good guy's turn.

Reading the situation, his new found compatriots under heavy attack all around, and coming to the understanding the creature in front of him is only momentarily confused - he can't be reasoned with and will definitely attack, Joka has no choice but to strike first.

If I can eliminate this threat quickly, I can help the others before anyone gets seriously hurt.

Csillag swings at one of her two opponens, but he manages to dance out of the way of her lightsaber, his eyes wide. Despite missing the nimble opponent, she's able to get herself into a defensive posture with superior positioning -- enhancing her next attack.
OOC:
As noted, you can upgrade your next attack. That'll turn a Green die into a Yellow.
Heyop manages to catch Hotel's swing on his truncheon, deflecting it with a grunt. Swapping his truncheon to his off-hand, he brings out his pistol and fires a quick shot into Hotel. It's enough to drop Hotel to the ground, unconcious.
OOC:
Heyop takes 0 damage from the assault due to parry. Suffers 1 strain total (due to adv recover) for the parry action. I assume you used quick draw or the like to draw the weapon as an incidental.
Urik looks confusedly at the array before him, but sees Csillag beset by two enemies so he seeks to assist her with the pistol in his hand. However, despite some careful planning -- he's not able to land a shot on one of the enemies. Still his target is moved significantly out of position by the incoming fire and he will have difficulty landing a hit on Csillag.

Charlie will take 2 setback dice from the 4 adv.
Mal is the first to land a hit with his lightsaber and Delta, while not undone, looks much the worse for wear from the onslaught of the blade.
OOC:
Delta has 9 - 7 = 2 health left. Mal, with 2 adv you can give him setback, give you a boost, pass along a couple boosts or trigger a critical on him.
Joka reads the situation and presses the attack to help his new-found friends. As with Mal, his lightsaber scores a couple glancing blows on Joker, but while enough to give Joker second thoughts, they're not enough to bring him down.
OOC:
Joker has 9 - 7 = 2 health left. As with Mal you can use the 2 adv to pass along boost, give yourself a boost, give Joker a setback or trigger a critical. For argument's sake -- let's assume you take 1 Conflict from escalating your local conflict from non-violent to violent. It'd be more but your motivation to aid your friends reduces this. Note that I'm playing with Conflict somewhat to try and make it a more useful mechanic than I find in RAW.
Marc's able to land some blows with his armored fists, but Mike remains intent on bashing him on the head with his makeshift club.

Marc -- we should still discuss your equipment a bit to get it powered more appropriately for the settings/skills (and adversaries) you'll run into. But based on the description your Pierce should only be 1 due to your Force rating. I'll work with that for now. Mike takes 6 - 3 soak = 3 damage. He has 6 remaining.
