OOC:
I'm going to roll a straight d20 for intelligence. If I roll above a 10, she will understand.
She looks at you quizzically for a second and says. Corelief. Name. Corelief.

(14) = 14

Corelief smile thinking Well that is progress. He now frequently points to objects says the word Name and then the objects name till she figures out the word name mean he is giving the object's name. He plays this game while they are traveling to give her a bit more vocabulary. He doesn't work on any more than just objects seen for words. He does add the names of each of his traveling mates. Even tries for mountain and trees and such.

You make your way to the location Eloise tells you and you find the path easy enough. It is a little overgrown and doesn't seem well used, but it is there and usable.

The path heads up the mountain, slightly upwards at first but it doesn't take long for it to get more elevated. Soon, you are crawling over rocks and at points it seems as if you are almost going directly up, eventually you make it to a spot that levels out for a minute.

Frieda and Darastrix notice some obvious rustling in the shrubbery just ahead. It seems like a large animal and based on the noises, you would assume some sort of bear. There is also gold feathers strewn about and traces of blood.

An animal pops out of the bushes. Its head looks like an owl, but it has the body of a bear. It sniffs the air and moves carefully towards you.

Dara lays the meat down for the strange creature.

"Strange it is like nothing I have ever seen. Still a mighty creature."
Dec 10, 2019 6:34 pm
Corelief says in low volume as not to spook the creature, It would be best if we draw it off and continue without having to slay it.
