GeneCortess says:
Darastrix is blind in the darkness, but hears fine.

She says to the darkness, Release me and I will gladly let &%$# Chainfist suffer.

Seeing that this might be her chance to escape or for more suffering from Chainfist, she holds up her manacled hands and tries to use her force to break away the chains and without blasting herself. She thinks to herself I hope Chainfist can't sense this.
OOC:

Darastrix is using eldritch blast on the chains to free herself. She will use them on hands and feet both if it works.
The manacles blast apart with a repeated barrage from your magic. The flashes of light give everyone spots on their eyes that take a moment to recover from.

Roar of hatred reeks through the air in the darkness as Darastrix stand up finally let her muscles enjoy themselves.. YES! it wasn't so much the word "Yes" as you could just about filled a lot of emotion behind it. You could almost see redness in Darastrix's eyes in the flashes of light from her burning energy, one blast after another. She had lost all concern if Chainfist found out, as she is sure he will complete his promise and he would kill her.

Unfortunately for her, her blasts of energy don't do much good for her to see by. She is still blind as bat. She picks up her chains that held her. And in the darkness, she eyes them as weapons. Everyone can hear the chains rattle some in her hands and some might have figured out she is standing now and most likely not bound. She thinks Now to get out of here.

BiffRosencrantz says:
Hurkor, seeing nothing, gives one more violent pull of the chains holding him.
You're unable to get enough leverage to break them.

Please proceed with this thought.

"Old man, please give me the key from your boot." says Tenoch to his cell mate. He moves over to the person and tries to remove the boot to get the key.
OOC:
DM, Not sure what you meant. Tenoch is trying to get the key from the man he is in the cell with who offered the key in his boot.

These foul slavers will pay. Tonalli's blessings.
OOC:
If I have access to my spells I will cast light. I will cover it as best I can so we have dim light but shouldn't show outside the hold.

Hmm I was just thinking Darastrix was in chains which seriously prevented her from moving about and much less sitting up since she was usually being punished and rightly so with good reason. But I guess she is also in a cell too and no doubt alone in it as she isn't generally a very nice person. That and no else like to share her punishment.
She is quickly realizing that her new freedom comes with a limit as she abruptly hit the unforeseen wall of the cage with a dull thud of surprise. Bastards! (she couldn't move or see before so she really didn't know about the cage)

Taking just a moment to be pleased with himself, Te'e'no moves to the next set of chains and attempts to break them. He jokes to the vampire who made wise about opportunities. "Is this the opportunity you were waiting for, or do you want to save your strength some more?" Te'e'no will also take a length of chain/manacle for use as an impromptu weapon if it comes to that.

Doubting that Te'e'no can see her face in the darkness, she smiles as having her joke thrown back in her face. Sighing dramatically, she says, "Oh, I suppose this one will do," and holds her chains up to make it easier for him to unlock.

Darastrix says to Te-e-no as she hears him working next door. Can you open this $%#& cage?
Aug 2, 2019 7:26 pm
Jergen looks up at the sounds of chains breaking. At last! With a predatory smile he stands up and looks around in the darkness. "Whoever is free or has the key, set me free so I can get out on the top deck and kill something!"

Rolls

Break chains - (1d20+1)

(17) + 1 = 18

OOC:
Can I reattempt to break the chains?

Because I will absolutely break them even if someone lets me loose.

"So impatient. We've been locked up here for days and you're getting angsty about a few more minutes. Sheesh."
Aug 2, 2019 7:44 pm
If Te'e'no can could see color in the darkness with darkvision, he would swear Darastrix are just starting to turn red.

She slams herself hard on the cage trying to rip it apart like a wild animal in rage. Of course her efforts are wasted, but her energy isn't. She can be heard cursing the cage in rather vulgar terms that are very un-lady like, but nothing less than you have heard her say before. So it isn't a grand surprise.

Look. If we keep yelling and rattling the cage we will have people looking in on us. Let's try to keep it quiet do we can have some surprise on our side?
