Brock's blade comes down on the center of the serpent's skull cleaving it in two. The snake falls into coiled pile of blood and brain.

It was fairly bad. I can heal some. Condon call upon heavens and is completely heal. St. Cuthbert watches over its own.

Cootufy doesn't find any traps.
You look around the room and find the Giant Adders nest. Sifting through the debris, you come across a jeweled dagger and estimate its worth to be about 800gp.
Ahead of you, there is a corridor with two doors to two rooms to the left and a door to a room and a stairway going up to the right.

Looking over the dagger, Now this makes coming here worth it. He looks around at the party, Lets get going. He walks over to the first door and listens for a second on it.

The elf stays silent, so as not to detract from the priest's attempt to listen. However, he does shift slightly, trying to cover the open door and the stairway with his bow. If the sounds of battle were to attract attention, he assumed it would more likely come through the open passageways.

Cordon opens the door to reveal what was once a nice bedchamber but is now a complete mess. There is a bed that has been chopped to pieces and there is furniture however this has been smashed or is missing pieces.
