Quickly, I disengage from my attacker and run past him 25’.
OOC:
Let’s say I wanted to find a way to block his attack with my shackles in hopes they’d break, could I?

OOC:
It could work, but it would take a couple hits. You could dodge as an action, and rather than dodge if he misses by more than 5, he strikes the shackles. Damages the shackles, and they might break depending on the damage.

The soldier was reeling, and Finn used the moment to stoop under his legs and get past him. He ran, past the Imperius, and toward Doc, blood dripping all the way. The soldier watched Finn, taking wide steps toward him as he hefted the axe.

This would take him past Ian, granting an attack of opportunity.

He would swing his axe at Finn two more times, aiming to decapitate the little man.

The first swing caught the shackles, which caused a crack in them, but they still held.

The second swing swiped across Finn's right arm(4 damage)

The Imperius immediately began on another weave, thin black fluid dribbling onto the stones from her robe now. This weave was reminiscent of a spiked ball, and she was casting it right at Ian's face with three fingers. She closed her hand, and the weave flared purple in his face. (8 psychic damage) She began circling around him, putting her back to the wall.

The Wildlander, now freed from the paralysis inflicted upon her by the Imperius, shakes with her unbridled fury at the affront of the spell cast upon her. Greta glares at the woman responsible for the plague with a blazing hatred from deep within the barbarian’s soul.

She closes the gap with an animalistic pounce and using her shield attempts to overbear the spell caster to the ground, her already superior strength and size made all the more potent with the rage of the last of the Ingar!

The Imperius, as she moves behind Ian, is overtaken by a raging barbarian woman. Despite her best efforts against a barbarian that wanted her to fight back, she fell flat on her back with a slap and a hiss.

This will be for the Attack of Opportunity and Ian's reaction to the spell.
The soldier was chasing down the little halfling as he scrambled and jumped all over the small prison, using the shackles on his wrist to defend against the strikes, at least partly. When the soldier raised his weapon to slash down at Finn, Ian took the chance and reached out to slice at the soldier.

At the same moment the spell caught him, ruining his slice with his rapier. As he nearly doubled over, the long haired man let out of a low growl. Straightening he glowers down at the woman that Greta had tackled. "You should'a cast'a spell that works. But, ta be fair . . ." His eyes narrow, murder glinting across his sharp features, "It's far from'the worst mistake you've made taday."

Don't melee-range spells not trigger AoO in 5e?

She was moving within his range too. I'm tempted to invalidate that attack, rather than make Ian drop the rapier. xD

OOC:
spells don’t draw AoO anymore. Ranged spell attack if within 5’ would be at disadvantage though. And because she’s on her ass now, all her attacks are disadvantaged (ranged or otherwise) Any adjacent attacks against the Imperius are advantaged *cough cough* Ian. But ranged attacks against Imperius are disadvantaged.

Zifu recovered from the shock as her mind raced to decipher the scene before her. "What is wrong with you?" she called out to the guard. "All of you?!"

She looped both of her hands into her red cord and quickly wove a triangular pattern, pulling the cord taut against three of her fingers. At once, the ground next to the jailer erupted into a giant hand that reached for the armored man, attempting to restrain him.

The owl continued its flurry of wings, trying to distract the guard so that Doc might fare better.

Behind the soldier, the ground erupted upward. The stonework formed itself into an amalgam of a giant hand, which closed around the soldier's upper body, squeezing tightly. The soldier seemed to fight against the grip, though, and it was not as effective as it could have been.(6 damage dealt)

He loosens his grip on the axe, and his head jerks one side, then the other. "Ah, gods! What happened, wh--..."

He looked down at the hand.

"WHAT IS GOING ON?"

The axe drops to the floor.

OOC:
Right, but the Imperius's attack didn't require an attack roll, it was just a save. Hence no disadvantage. Also dunno why that dice rolled twice

Also, for something requiring a save, go ahead and roll for the enemy and indicate it as their save. I will add their modifier and get the response out. Lastly, showing rolls because not only did GP want to hide the roll, it rolled twice for some reason. Just to show I did not in fact fudge a dice roll to take 6 less damage xD

In the midst of battle, Doc is relieved for a moment. He had a hunch the guard was not acting on his own accord, and his reaction to the giant hand attempting to restrain him seemed to support this.

As such, Docanter changes tactics. The ghostly sickle, missing its initial target, changes course and flies toward the Imperius on the ground.

"Beo" he says and raises his hands. Finn, Ian and Greta are suffused with greater resolve and vigor.
OOC:
Bonus action to move the spiritual weapon and attack imperius on the ground. Action to cast Bless; Finn, Ian and Greta are now #blessed and can add 1d4 to all attack rolls and saving throws. Spiritual Weapon does not require concentration so bless will be the spell I'm concentrating on.

The scythe formed again out of the blackened smoke lingering in the room, and it made a ghostly crackling as it changed direction toward the Imperius, directly for her head. She gritted her teeth, and whipped her head to the side, leaving the scythe inches from her. Again, it dissipated into smoke, having not touched her.

Ian began rampantly stabbing as he yelled at Zifu, with his initial strike also being thrown off by her whipping her head around, he decided to go for center mass and stabbed her above the collar bone. A jet of dark liquid jutted up from the wound, splashing up toward Greta and Ian and sprinkling them with it.

It began to burn... But if there was any other effect besides that, it was not apparent.
