Seeing as more pressing matters were at hand and she was clearly afraid for her life instead of attempting to murder them, Doc set aside his grudge for the moment and began helping with the barricade.

Is Greta helping?

With the combined effort of three people, they managed to wedge two weapon racks against thr door, interspersed with a chest and the large table in the middle of the room. The shambling seemed to get closer, then altogether stopped.

"I don't know how strong they are, but they seem to be dumb." she said with relief.

She walked over, picked up her staff, then boldly stood in the corner.

Greta stood dumbfounded for a moment and before she knew it, the weaklings managed to wrestle in some sort of barricade.

"You say, the BONES got up and walked again?"

Axu nodded.

"I would say they're just common animated skeletons, but... They form out of dust. And there's... something else, but I can't remember."

Greta tells Ian "This is what I remember: it all started last winter in my village. I’m not sure if Bjarni, or Olga was the first, but in one night everyone was a skeleton or ran off. I also remember seeing something else, but I can’t remember what it was. Maybe I got hit on my head, I don’t know.

After I ran, every village was the same, those same black skeletons everywhere. I never saw a walking skeleton, but by the time I made it South, everyone last one of the Ingar clan was gone. All I can remember is just running for my life and seeing blackened skeletons all along the way.
"

"That Witch we fought also had some small stone, shape like a dragon, I remember seeing something like that, but not when or where. I think you all got knocked out, but before I was, I saw her grab that thing and it was like her skin turned to water and she became those bones. "

"And you say the city fell?" Zifu asked. She adjusted her new sack of whetstones into her travel case. "What were your plans now, with your companions? And where are they?"
Sep 22, 2019 3:13 pm
"We were to find a way out of the city that isn't dangerous. I believe they are at the bull-man's tavern."
Sep 22, 2019 3:20 pm
Greta asks "Toyachek?"
Sep 22, 2019 3:26 pm
"Do you know where the tavern is from here?"
Sep 22, 2019 3:30 pm
"An did y'come up with any ideas?" He frowns slightly before holding up his hands, "Wait'a second!" He blinks suddenly before narrowing his eyes at Zifu, his gaze full of suspicion. "You said y'saw someone in her bed." There's a pause as he takes a step towards her, "I need you ta be completely honest with us. If you died violently, would it start a war somehow?"

Axu looked between them. "I think that was his name, and I know how to get to it. But I was not expecting this castle to be so active, so it may be an issue getting out."
Sep 22, 2019 3:55 pm
"I doubt we're gonna fair any better sitting here." he mused.
He observed his surroundings, as if for the first time while absentmindedly stroking his chin.
"I think we should quickly stop by the Legate's office since we're close by and then make for the tavern to regroup."

The door handle began jiggling slowly. Scratching could be heard along the wood of the door.
