Sasha crepts into the area to get a peek at everything. Moved her on the map.

The chariot is a light chariot and is bigger than the doorways, so it was likely reassembled down here. The skins appear to have not survived the years. The shields in the corner function as torch folders.

Cross examines the chest in the SE corner of the first room. They were warned about traps, so she is looking for triggers on the chest
OOC:
In best Skyrim style :)
Have moved my character
The air in the tomb might have been stagnant and stuffy, but around Cross there is a breeze that recirculates the air.
[ +- ] Breeze currently calm

Jabari enters the chamber with the chariot. Being the fighting man he is, he finds it intriguing and steps inside. He imagines himself racing against other chariots, with foam mouthed horses kicking up the sand in front of them.

Cross is unable to find any traps on the chest, but he doesn't really know how to look for them.

The chariot creaks alarmingly as Jabari puts his weight on it, indicating that it will likely collapse if he fully enters.

Sasah attention turns to the chest as she sees Cross playing around with it. She walks up next to Cross. You trying to check it for traps?
Oct 9, 2019 5:08 pm
Oh! I better get off of this thing before it collapses. Jabari, as quickly as his bulk allows, jumps from the chariot and hurts his remaining wounds as he lands. He bites his tongue so as not to grimace. I showed weakness once. That is enough of that, he thinks.

Sasha takes off her backpack digs down through the pitons and alchemist vials to retrieve her tools. Let see if I can unlock that.
She goes at the lock.
OOC:
If that fails she will can retry.

Rolls

Disable device (pick locks) - (1d20+8)

(4) + 8 = 12

Sasha finds a trap, as it springs out a blade near the lock. It slices her hands (for 2 points of damage), but the burning tells her it is poisoned.

Sasha should make a DC 13 Fortitude save, or take 1 Con damage, this round.

The chest is still locked.

Rolls

Slice slice slice - (1d20+10, 1d4+1)

1d20+10 : (19) + 10 = 29

1d4+1 : (1) + 1 = 2

Confirm critical - (1d20+10)

(6) + 10 = 16

I can see you didn't check for traps well. Lets do that first as this trap may have reset. as she rubs her hands. That did hurt. She looks for traps. & disable traps. And then try to unlock again.
OOC:
Dice are being much nicer to me..

Sasha fights off the poison, disables the trap and unlocks the chest.

The chest is beautiful, and if undamaged, is worth xxx gp as an art piece (including the trap, which can be reset). The chest contains two potions of cure light wounds and one potion of darkvision. Also inside the chest are two books with thin, gold-plated metal sheets for pages. The first is a brief biography of Akhentepi, and the second is a list and description of the various military campaigns conducted by the nation of Osirion between 2350 and 2450 ar. Each book weighs 25 pounds and is worth xxx gp.

(Prices will be revealed once a DC15 Appraise or DC10 Knowledge (History)check is successfully made.)

Seeing the potion of healing, You all don't might if I drink one of those potions of healing. I'm feeling very much under the weather (2hp).
OOC:
Moving the chest some, about how much does it weight? Not that Sasha would ever carry it.
Oct 10, 2019 4:03 am
The chest is in the neighbourhood of forty pounds.
Oct 10, 2019 6:22 am
Cross is clearly stricken as her inattention caused pain to a friend.
Sorry about that. I thought I checked it. There is no need to carry the chest around, it is it a good place as any to pile our findings
Oct 10, 2019 2:37 pm
Eh Sasha? I need to be at full strength or darn near it to face what's surly coming. Can I have that other potion of healing.

Jabari is somewhat embarrassed asking for help again, especially asking one of the female persuasion, but for the good of the group....
OOC:
This will put him 1 shy of full strength if she agrees.

The discussion of healing potions draws Avaline's ear. "Please let me try something before you use potions we cannot get back," she says, holding up a hand to forestall any objections.

She bows her head, resting both hands on her walking stick and leaning against it even more than normal. Her lips move slightly, silently, as though praying or holding an internal conversation. Those within 30 feet of her feel a wave of positive energy, brightening spirits and healing wounds.

Rolls

Channel energy - healing - (1d6)

(6) = 6

Sasha say as she is nearly completely healed, That was amazing She gently sets the potion of healing back down in the chest.
