"It's hard... seeking and supporting life in a place like this," says Avaline, her head coming up and eyes opening to look about the tomb. "I can't explain it very well, how it works, but... I think of it as reaching out toward the life force around me and encouraging it to... go places. There's so much death here, it takes a... different angle."

In any case, she smiles at Sasha and Jabari. "But. I am happy I could help."

Jabari watches Avaline do whatever it is she doing. Shortly thereafter a warm wave comes over him, infusing him with healing energy.

Ahh, now I feel like I can take on the world. My thanks Avaline!

Beyond the chariot display is a short hallway, and then another chamber.

Four funerary masks hang on one wall of the short hallway, staring down as if in judgement at anyone standing in the corridor.

A Knowledge (Religion) check might reveal more about the masks.

Beyond the hallway, you see a table displaying a three-dimensional diorama occupying much of the north side of the room (i.e., to your left). Three shields with different designs are displayed upon a rack against the far wall, while various weapons hang from another rack along the south wall (your right). Arrayed around the room are five small chests and a clay urn.

Sasha eyes it all from a distance. Seems the last chest got her a bit more suspicious of the place.

That looks to inviting not to he heavily trapped
Cross looks for magic and magical traps
Oct 13, 2019 3:02 pm
Sasha recognizes the first two make as depicting the gods Pharasma and Abadar, but doesn't recognize the next two.

Cross notices that there are four sources on magic in the far room, one from a scarab shaped shield, and three from dolls (each about 18 inches tall) in the diorama.

CAREFUL with the dolls! There is an enchantment on them. Also on the scarab shield, but that is most likely the shield we have seen depicted, so I am not as worried about that one
Oct 16, 2019 12:35 pm
Sasha recast her cantrip for light. She enters the room and crept over to small chest. She is all eyes as she moves rather slow. She will check the small chest for traps.

If you beat the dolls initiative of 13, go ahead and act. They're moving directly for Sasha.
Oct 16, 2019 3:27 pm
Sasha would like to throw the spell Grease on the incoming dolls with hopes to forestall their moment and then retreat back so to hopefully reduce them from surrounding her. She will draw out a shortsword for defense. If they are to get to her then if she can do a defensive dodging that would be good. Moving back and then throwing the grease spell works too. :)

Sasha casts Grease and the spell coats the room in a thin layer.
OOC:
I'll wait until tomorrow for Dramasailor, before continuing on.

Skipping Dramasailor

The warrior dolls attack Sasha! They encounter the grease... and all three tumble to the ground, their limbs flailing comically.

All of you are up, in whatever order you post. Initiative is now (All players), (All monsters), (All players), etc.

Recall if you enter the grease area, the following rules
[ +- ] Greasy

The tiny creatures are hard to hit, and even with penalties for being prone, Sasha misses.
OOC:
The character is lying on the ground. A prone attacker has a –4 penalty on melee attack rolls and cannot use a ranged weapon (except for a crossbow). A prone defender gains a +4 bonus to Armor Class against ranged attacks, but takes a –4 penalty to AC against melee attacks.

Standing up is a move-equivalent action that provokes an attack of opportunity.
