Sasha Whip is a melee weapon with reach. So it has no penalty attacking the prone figures? or is treated like a ranged weapon and suffers a -4 to hit?Last edited October 21, 2019 6:36 pm

Seeing the greas covered area, Cross takes out her bow and send an arrow towards a figur.

Cross finds that the tiny creatures, already too fast and too small to hit easily, are far harder to hit when prone. Her shot misses by a lot.

Avaline isn't particularly quick with it, but she does unlimber her light crossbow to take a shot at one of the dolls.

Jabari can reach a doll, but he'll need to enter and deal with the Grease condition on the floor (DC 10 Acrobatics check or risk falling).
Avaline misses with her crossbow, due to the prone position of the dolls making them even harder to hit.

Jabari steps onto the grease. It almost looks like a dance...a hesitant leg outstretched to test how slippery it is, followed by a lightning quick maneuver, swinging his falchion below his knees in an arc from left to right in an attempt to hack as many dolls as he can, before he slips and falls.

Jabari maintains his feet and slashes at one of the creepy dolls, slicing it in half as it is flung away against a wall, no longer animate.

The flaming attack misses the quick moving, tiny doll and strikes the grease right beside it, setting a small amount of the grease on fire. A sizzle of acrid smoke rises from the blackened spot before the flames go out.
The dolls go for the knees! But first, they must get to you. One slips and falls, but the smoking mostly burnt one gets to Sasha, pounding her in the shin for 3 points of damage.
Each of you are up, in whatever order you post.

Doll 2: 1/5 hp (attacking Sasha)
Doll 3: 5/5 hp (prone in the grease)

Frustrated by what she thought was a pretty good shot instead missing her target, Avaline gives up on firing crossbow bolts at the dolls. Seeing Sasha get whacked in the shin, she instead steps forward and touches the halfling lightly on the shoulder. A small surge of energy passes between them.

It was fortunate that I didn't fall but I am not going to press my luck, Jabari thinks as he balances precariously.
Spying the stuck and prone doll, he slides through the grease closer to it, makes an arc above his head with the Falchion to give it momentum without moving and losing balance, and hacks down hard on the doll, hoping to smash it in two.
