Okay a shout out and a Hi to all -- and then a question -- what is the current make up of the group -- aka who will be playing what at this time?

Smiles. Unsure of the party content myself fully but I hope all is active. I'm finishing up my male half-orc fighter.

I'm going to approve DeJoker's character and will put up a post to get things moving again. I think that we'll just say that the newcomers have journeyed to Saltmarsh, heard about the haunted house, and decided to go exploring, where they run into the others. That work for everyone? I know that it stretches disbelief, but I'd like to keep this moving forward.

I'll put the rest of you on the map as soon as you post in your avatar, so I can glean the picture.

These particular maps were culled from the Interwebz, which is what I usually do, then run them through Photoshop to clean them up a bit if necessary.

Ah okay -- yeah I used to use an free online software that allowed me to make descent maps that I could just take screen shots of but I cannot find the URL I had for it -- and when I went looking again I did not stumble across it -- although I might have found one that I can use just hoping to find the one I used to use (if it still even exists)

There are a lot of options available. When I need to make my own for whatever reason, I use Dungeon Painter from Steam for rooms and dungeons, Hexographer for overland, and Wonderdraft for large-scale maps.

DM, when we post actions that might require a saving throw from an NPC, did you want us to include a d20 roll? Or do you prefer to roll creature saves on your own?
