There are a few ways this could go down, but ultimately it sounds like your goal is to prevent this encounter from devolving to combat and instead make it social. With that in mind, someone can make a group Charm check versus a Hard (PPP) difficulty. Two setbacks for stranger danger, but three boosts for bringing up their hairdresser friend and the desire to get Fatima back. Two more boosts for unskilled assistances.

Final roll is YGBBBBB vs. PPPKK.

In retrospect, a Cool check probably would have been better than Charm. But it looks like the pool would have been identical, so we'll roll with it.

Looks like we've got an initiative order. I'm happy to treat this as a hybrid combat/social encounter, which means you're welcome to use your turn trying to reason with them if you wish rather than fighting. Also remember that you have the option to deal non-lethal damage with Brawl attacks in this system. In that case, you deal damage to strain rather than wounds. Their Triumph gives them one free maneuver, which they use to drive forward.
The car moves forward ominously as you stand your ground. The back doors both fly open, and six people with colorfully dyed hair—presumably Pantones—spill out clown-car style. They have a mixture of weapons, some baseball bats, a few aerosol cans, some bare-handed.

"Maybe you can't find the exit?" one asks, cracking his fingers.

They're all at short range to you (the car is too). They spent their whole turn opening the door and getting out of the car. First 3 PCs are up!

Marv sighs, pulls his hand out of his pocket as he turns around and flexes his fingers, the knuckles crackling.

Marv Dashes to the group of Pantones in two quick leaps and takes off, leading with his knee. The camera zooms into his eyes, which are narrowing with focus as he aims for the temple.

Haha! Go ahead and roll it. Standard melee difficulty is PP. These guys don't have any defense, so no setbacks.

Yeah, just reroll the reds as purples. We can keep your positive dice (and that Triumph!). Once we determine whether you hit or not, you can designate the effect of the Triumph.

reroll. I think total is 1 triumph, 1 success (triumph counts as a success, right?), 2 threat. I'd like to use the triumph to increase difficulty of the next minions check and maybe the threat to add a setback die to my next roll since I dove in and am now surrounded? Totla damage will be 2 with 2 pierce I think.

Marv's knee finds the temple of a teenager with artificial blond hair and a metal baseball bat. The kid screams in pain but remains standing. Marv overextends his knee slightly, sending a jolt of pain up his leg.
OOC:
We can use the earlier difficulty since it was harder dice but ended up with a happier result (2 successes and 1 threat rather than 2). You take 1 strain for the threat.

Are you dealing wounds (potentially lethal blows) or strain damage to the Pantone?

Hank winces as Marv crashes into the group of teenagers. Oof. Maybe they'll be ready to parley once they see we're not pushovers.

Hank sweeps his jacket behind his hips, then breaks into a run directly at the car. "Always wanted to do this..." He leaps and slides at an angle across the hood, landing dramatically next to Marv.

One maneuver to approach, strain for another maneuver to aim, then a Knee attack.

What a weird roll. Is this enough advantage to give us an extra couple boosts on another social check? Maybe Marv and my united offensive intimidates them or gives them the idea that we actually might be able to help?

If not, I'll heal a couple strain, then give myself a boost and the next PC a boost.
