OOC:
adding ANDREW to the suggestion:
Lain runs away in old spaceship where she finds and repairs ANDREW (maybe he was shut down for awhile?). She teams up with awsmack's infiltrator to form shadowrunner mercenary team specialised in cover missions (spy+hack). They recently got a good contract that allowed them to expand their skillset and hired some of the people they smuggled from thew wild worlds
Lain still works as a soldier, but now can aim to destroy the enemy's armour from afar :) With Bloodrage she may even try to destroy all armours or quickly reduce the enemy numbers!!! this probably worked well to allowthe other two from her team to hack and infiltrate or to cover their run when needed. She is now much more of a spaceship pilot :D
[ +- ] Soldier version
Name: Lain
Origin: Cyborg
Upbringing: Station/Spaceship
Class: Soldier
Summary: Because she revealed an early talent for tech and a fine control and understanding of machine, Lain was recruited as a young girl as "cargo" pilot for a corporation who smuggled goods (and people) between space stations. Having been dragged so early into the corporate world and politics, she became ambitious and with fairly flexible morale, the ideal employee. As such, Lain was offered a promotion and a chance to improve her piloting skills. This came with the unexpected small letters requiring a cybernetic implant, , something she as an inexperienced teenager would have not noticed. The implant attuned Lain to hardware, vehicles and machines, expanding her capacities even further. Feeling betrayed and experimented on, Lain honed her newfound abilities by testing them infiltrating and hacking the various corporate systems and vehicle systems. After awhile, she decided to expand her options and went rogue to become a smuggler of "shadowrunners", assembling teams for the highest bidder, be it a government trying to keep the rule of law or a cunning corporation trying to corner the market.
However, she soon found that her implant can work as a remote location device, which she cannot suppress near the "corporation space". This makes her feel like constantly "on the run" as she knows she is a valuable asset that the corporation easily find and manipulate, even though she is not above accepting contracts from his previous employer (and is know to have done so).

Traits:
Origin Trait:
* Machine Partnership: Some Cyborgs feel more familiarity with unintelligent machines than with humans.
+1 modifier to any skill roll assisted by a machine (except an Android).
-1 modifier to any skill roll actively being assisted by another character, except for Androids.
Upbringing Trait:
* Techbrain:From young age, you have been around machines and computers.
+1 bonus if you can use a computer to assist with a task that does not necessarily require one.
-1 modifier whenever you are using low-tech when high-tech would be the usual choice.
Class Trait:
* Armor Destruction: Instead of trying to harm an opponent, a soldier can attempt to destroy their armor. Before making an attack, they have to announce to make use of this ability. If their attack hits, they do not roll to circumvent armor and do no damage to the target. Their armor penetration value is counted as 1 higher than it actually is. For the purposes of damaging armor, this attack is counted as if it had failed to penetrate the armor. If the armor is damaged by this attack, it takes one additional point of damage
