"I thought as much and I am ready to leave with you, but might I suggest we go via slow boat as it would greatly reduce our profile and perhaps allow us to slip into Japan nearly unnoticed. And of course I will help you as that is what friends do." Helios then teased trying to lighten the mood, "So is the real coffee how that begins?"

Missy described in as much detail as she could the features of the astral spirit that had traced her and yet did not attack or do anything to her. It took the form of an approximate insectoid shape, but what was notable about it was that the aura that swirled around it looked like an astral representation of some poison or toxin, leeching out from the spirit, casting tendrils all around it, coalescing and dissipating. Missy had the impression that to come in contact with the aura would be injurious to her astral self, and had made no move to approach it.

Missy also recalled for Helios the vision that the spirit showed her, which was an image of Shanto morphing into a human insect hybrid. It was hard for Missy to specify exactly what kind of insect she saw, given the amorphous nature of the image, which was more a thought projection really, being the astral.

I like the idea of a showboat. And I know a coffee shop down the street.

As Helios and Missy considered their options over coffee, they weighed whether it was important to them to avoid traveling too obviously, such as by plane or ship. A less obvious option might be required, in which case they had to consider who they knew who could set them up.

Missy looks through her contacts that could know something about getting undetected to japan. "Ancient Mai" was her fixer and "Lollypop bunny" who was a matrix contact that could get any kind of information.

Helios commented, "There is a possibility of getting working passage on some fishing boat headed towards Japan it might be a hit or miss proposition but with our talents we should be able to get some legal small fishing entrepreneur to take us on. I mean it is a win-win scenario for us and the fishing entrepreneur. Further it is how I got here from Japan way back when and it might work in the other direction just as well. Further working passage tends to be fairly low key and not often overly monitored or checked."

As long as you don't expect me to havl fish, I'm open for working my way to Japan

"Well I am sure you can get some sea weed or other editables if you are not into fish, just have a minor water elemental fetch it."

Missy looks dumbfounded. She hadn't considered speaking with the water elementals for a safe sea-voyage. Feeling like an idiot she just adds."Work" as in calming the sea spirits on the way. I can do that.

"And wind spirits, and I can draw in fish even a specific kind of fish and by the time we get to Japan the fisherman has more than he could have ever gotten on his own, maybe but again it is kind of a hit or miss proposition as we do need to find the individual that would benefit from such a team-up in skills and I have not kept tabs on the fishing industry here as I did when in Japan."

"You want to go where on boat, you crazy Missy?" Ancient Mai cackled over her commlink when Missy contacted her to check on the option of traveling by sea. "One hour by plane, eight day for fast ship, twenty for fishing boat." She tut-tutted over the line so loudly even Helios could hear her.

"Ok ok you go Aberdeen Harbour. Look for Mr and Mrs Chan. Family run fishing. Take factory boat, go faster. If you take trawler is one month to go."

As Helios remembered it had taken a couple of weeks but then he had helped facilitate the travel time and reduced the fishing time needed which helped reduce the overall normal travel time some so the twenty days for a fishing boat unaided sounded about right. Once Missy got off her commlink Helios said, "The fishing boat sounds about right and the couple of weeks at sea would mean they might not feel you were heading to Japan but in some other direction and if I mask your signature while on the boat ride they will have a harder time locating you via spirits again."

Aberdeen Harbour. Mr and Mrs Chan. Go it. Thank you, Ancient Mai. She hangs up and returns her attention to Helios. I think it's time to do a bit of cleansing, and then buy a few tickets: Singapore, Taiwan, the Philippines.
Missy ponders other ways to muddle the waters. If you don't mind, I would like you to do the cleansing. We call the powers differntly

Helios nodded, "Okay well do you want to go to the Yaumatei Tin Hau Temple to do this its fairly close by? That, or we could go up to Mount High West on are way down to the Aberdeen Harbor and do it up there."
