Yea, with 3 people with the skill, that means there is always one to aid no matter who is hurt.

That also means you can focus on your magic more, at least at first.

Liroc will probably not invest in any more healing skill. So you can easily overshoot him if you aim for the 75% to have 99% success rate with an helper.

I think Nunri killed herself.

NunRIP

Nah, Fumbles are a roll of 00, or 100 in this case...

While Liroc does have a fate point, I think i'll take this as an exit for this game. With the multiple delays and character changes and the little we have accomplished in 4 months, I don't really feel engaged in it anymore.

Thank for running it Kalajel. I'd be interested in trying again the Age of Shadow at another opportunity.

And good luck to you all!
I'm sad to see you go, but on the other hand, I cannot force someone to continue playing if they're no longer having any fun... I also guess that your new job might also leave you less time to come and post on here.

We can continue playing, if my remaining 4 players still want to. We still have 2 front line fighters in Herradine and Nunri, so I think we have a balanced party.

Well, it is indeed about balancing my time better with the new job. I've had fun with this game, and i would love to see the Age of Shadow setting past the starting level at some point. I think i like the system.

Its one of the things I still struggle with in the pbp format. Spendings months of a single adventure (or scene in some cases) without being able to see the character or the story develop.

Im game to continue.
Aug 15, 2020 4:01 pm
I'm good.
Aug 15, 2020 4:09 pm
I'm good to continue and finish this sewer adventure but I think once this arc is wrapped up, I'll leave as well.
The game is well run and I'm enjoying it but I'm not a fan of the system and the game isn't really clicking with me for some reason.
Still, I want to see this sewer monster story through to the end
Aug 15, 2020 4:51 pm
Alright. I guess we can at least finish this adventure.

What would be involved in an attempt to grab the sword jutting from the side of the slug? Athletics? Deception? Riding? Unarmed combat? Close combat ?
Aug 16, 2020 9:25 pm
Athletics sounds good. Deception might allow to feint the giant slug to give a bonus to whomever grabs the sword next...

The sewer slug and Herradine are not locked in grapple, imposing a -25% penalty to any action which hasn't anything to do with their grappling opponent. they may not use reaction (which sort of turns this tragedy to your advantage in a way...)
Did you mean are NOW locked in grapple?
Aug 18, 2020 1:11 am
Yes. Silly typo...
Aug 18, 2020 6:37 am
It's not my turn yet, but if I now wanted to cast a heal on Herradine as she grapples, as I'm required to touch her for that, would I be able to?
Aug 18, 2020 2:48 pm
Yes, you could, she's not too high up in the air. Also no special action required: I consider all this to be part of the innate spell casting roll...
