Nunri, her hands vibrating from the miss that knocked her hammer away, pushes away the rat biting at her, pulls her dagger and slashes back at the rat.

Rolls

Close Combat 56 - (1d100)

(55) = 55

Dagger damage - (1d4)

(4) = 4

May 25, 2020 10:21 pm
Herradine gets bitten, Nunri is jumping the gun a bit, and Malingad is up... :P

OOC:
Move into Combat,
All Out Attack: The attacker gives up their
reaction for the round but gains a second
attack, which happens straight after the first
attack. Both attacks are at -25% due to the
loss of skill during this frenzied attack. This
type of attack cannot be combined with a
great attack or a disarming attack.

So...1 with Hatchet, 1 with Dagger

Rolls

Hatchet (48/23) - (1d100)

(82) = 82

Damage - (1d6)

(6) = 6

Dagger (48/23) - (1d100)

(3) = 3

Damage - (1d4)

(2) = 2

OOC:
Critical Success wit Dagger = Max damage (4) yay!
May 26, 2020 3:46 pm
OOC:
Just checked your character sheet and noticed you had 2 hatchets. So which rat are you attacking? In the meantime while I wait for your answer, I'll go ahead and roll the giant rat's Dodge in case he crits it as well and turn your critical hit into a normal one...

Rolls

giant rat's dodge 43% - (1d100)

(62) = 62

May 26, 2020 5:33 pm
OOC:
yeah, earlier I mentioned I had "hatchets" drawn. In the first round, I threw one and then drew the dagger. In this second round, I closed the distance and made the "all out attack", missing with the hatchet and nailing the rat with a dagger. Thanks. :)
May 26, 2020 6:29 pm
Just stand with her bow and nocked arrow. Her and her dog seem all that is important to her. Especially now.
May 26, 2020 6:49 pm
OOC:
Alright, then, I'll go with the fiant rat in front of Nunri since it's the one on the battle map you can easily close up the range with...
Malingad closes in on the giant rat, attacking like a madman. While his hatchet misses, it was enough to distract the rat for his dagger to find its mark, solidly at that! This rat too suffers a Major Wound (heart stops in shock!, auto-failing its Resilience check) and falling unconscious.

This meant that Nunri would be left stabbing the rat in front of Herradine. The bad news is the rat dodges Nunri's dagger, the good news is that this rat has used up its Reaction for the round!

Herradine is up next!

Rolls

Major Wound - (1d10)

(7) = 7

giant rat's dodge 43% - (1d100)

(7) = 7

May 26, 2020 6:57 pm
Hoping to take advantage of the fact that the rat already had to move one attack this round, Herradine attacks the one in front of her again.

Rolls

Close Combat 57 - (1D100)

(65) = 65

Damage if Hit - (1D8, 1D4)

1D8 : (2) = 2

1D4 : (2) = 2

May 26, 2020 7:50 pm
Herradine manages to graze the rat foe 2 points of damage.

This round of combat is over, we move on to nest round.

Battle Map

A square is 2 meters.

Conditions: Thanks to light shining in from the streets above through various grates, this section of the sewers is in Partial Darkness (-25% to vision-based Perception tests). Liroc and Cassi are carrying the party's sources of light, illuminating the sewers in a 3 meters radius for human characters. Malingad and Nunri both treat Partial Darkness as Illuminated (see rulebook p.56).
Two of the giant rats has suffered a Major Wound, both are unconscious (heart stopped in shock! and cracked skull and brain damage), that last one has its DEX halved, and has lost 4 points of INT and -25% to all mental process skills permanently!

Using last round's roll, Cassi manages to shoot the remaining rat for 2 points of damage. She has a move action remaining.

Liroc is up!
May 26, 2020 8:20 pm
Liroc will move behind the last, now dumber, rat and smash it with his heavy shield

Rolls

Shield bash (47%) - (1d100)

(7) = 7

Dmg - (1d6, 1d4)

1d6 : (3) = 3

1d4 : (3) = 3

May 26, 2020 9:57 pm
The giant rat will attempt to dodge your shield bash and... fails. You kill it instantly.

Fight over. You return to the relative calm of the sewers. With three giant rats dead in front of you, you still hear the splashing coming from the east...

Rolls

giant rat's dodge 43% - (1d100)

(81) = 81

"Are you ok Herradine? That looked like a nasty bite."
May 26, 2020 10:40 pm
Nunri collects her hammer, wiping the sewer stuff off on a dead rat, but that leaves it more hairy than clean. She pulls out a spare shirt and wipes the handle down, then the head. She tosses the shirt against the wall. It sticks.
May 26, 2020 11:26 pm
Cassi says I think others went north... This eastern passage might lead to nothing.
May 27, 2020 2:32 am
Malingad looks at Cassi after picking up his hatchet and cleaning it off.
"I agree with you Cassi, and yet if we don't clear out this eastern passage, we might be leaving our backsides open from this direction. Unless you can guarantee that, we've gotta dot the "i"s and cross the "t"s so to speak - execute the plan without changin' it midstride," he nods and follows the party, taking his post at the rear, hatchets at the ready.
May 27, 2020 2:45 am
Cassi puts her thoughts forward, Consider the rats were here. I suspect nothing would follow us going north. Going east just takes away from what we want to do.
May 27, 2020 3:09 am
"I still hear some splashing east, we're almost there, its worth a look"
May 27, 2020 5:17 am
TheVagrant says:
"Are you ok Herradine? That looked like a nasty bite."
Herradine leans on her spear and bends down to look at the wound on her leg. In the heat of the battle, she didn't consider it much but now that the fight is over, it looks and feels a lot worse than she initially thought. "That is a nasty bite. I'll be alright, I can still walk, but do you have some bandages by any chance? I would prefer to not get this infected."
