Kel grits her teeth against the pain in her arm, and attempts to jam her sword into the cultist's gut. She uses the anchor point of the cultist to swing around him, dragging the wound open further as she uses the momentum to slam both of her feet into the remaining cultist on their side.

Spear wasn't drawn, so she could cast, but it;s out now. Gonna grab war caster next level so I don't have track when armed.
As she deflects the blow she draws her spear, stepping into the bandits guard and jabbing.

Kirsk scales the hill and moves up towards the cultists drawing a javelin at the top. "Your bows are no match for the power of Bahamut!" He throws the javelin at the closest cultist.

Kel, you seriously injure both cultists. Leaving one with a big gash to the side of his stomach, bleeding profusely and painfully cracking a couple of ribs on the other. Octavia, you stab deep into the side of the cultist your facing, also leaving him severely hurt. Kirsk, you throw your javelin and narrowly miss your target.

Zach rattles the flat part of his spear on the ground rocks, producing sound.

Death embrace welcomes you

Once this is said, he whispers another incantation. By the second, each sound produces by the rattling starts to change into an ominous sound.

You're all starting to get familiar with the process as a deep, death bell tolls and the cultist that Kel stabbed falls dead to the ground, blood gushing unnaturally fast out of his gaping wound.

Three of the remaining cultists fire arrows at Kirsk, but they all miss. The last one slashes wildly at Octavia, and he finds a gap in your armour and slash your side.

Kel makes a passing swipe at the last cultist on her side, but doesn't stick around to check to see if the attack felled him. She had confidence the Zachary could finish him off if she didn't. Taking a running leap, she attempts to clear the gap between the two cliffs and prepare herself to start clearing the other side.

Zachary targets another unharmed cultists.

Producing another gust of wind with his robes, Zachary mutters and incantation to chill the air and strike the foe limbs, in hope to weaken his attacks.

Kel, you miss the cultist but you barely register it as you jump over the ridge to the other side. The distance isn't insignificant but you catch so much air that you practically soar through the sky. A thought enters your mind, this feels so natural. You land on the other side just as Kirsk climbs up and instantly decapitates the nearest cultist. Zachary, your spell hits another cultist and you see a thin layer of frost attach itself to his sword arm, he grabs it with his other hand and screams in pain.

The three remaining cultists go on the attack, but the panic is starting to set in and they all miss.

Your turns. All three cultists are hurt, and I know that the one you hit Zach should've attacked with disadvantage but he missed anyway

Octavia steps in close to both cultists and speaks a word. A word for the roar of flames, for the strike of hammer against anvil, the hiss of a sword in water. Her holy symbol radiates with the word, and it echoes within the cultists.

Lets switch it up a bit, and hope for a big damage number. They both make a con save, and take the damage on a fail.

Kel slips deftly between her companions to join the fray, slashing at the man before her, and stretching out her body to land a kick in the chest of the other. Her rising kick seems to gather heat as it travels toward her target, and a stream of flames scorches the man.

Kirsk steps to the next cultist and swings his hammer again.

if the guys are dead, Kirsk will attempt to jump across and arrack the other one, I’ll add an athletics attack

Zachary continues rattling the flat top of the spear on the rocks. Every hit the spear does starts making a low but audible sound.

For some reason I've completely dropped doing the wisdom saves needed for Toll the Dead, so I'll start doing them again. I did kinda think it was OP for a cantrip xD
Octavia, you blast both cultists with radiant energy and they scream in agony which only intesifies when Kel delivers a forceful kick to the cultist in front. The kick magically sends a stream of fire surging through both cultists, leaving nothing more than two smoking dead corpses behind.

Zachary, you toll the death bell for the last cultist and he falls screaming to the ground, his screams slowly fading out into a faint groan and then into nothing.

Kirsk, before seeing the effects of Zachary's spell, you've already committed to make the jump to the other side. However just as you're about to jump, your foot slips in the grass and you mistime it completely. Falling just short you try to grab onto something before you fall down into the valley.
OOC:
Kirsk, give me a DC 12 dexterity save. If you succeed, you manage to grab onto the ledge and pull yourself up. If you fail, you fall and take the falling damage. The battle is over and the path towards the camp seems clear, let me know what you'd like to do.
