Gwynne returns her teacup, stands, pauses, grabs a cookie for the road, then exits, joining the group heading to the Malkavian's haven.

"Late, so late, my word am I in trouble now" Henry mutters to himself as he hobbles towards the entrance.

*Bracing his back against the door so as not to lose his grip on his books he pushes with all his small frame can muster to open it. Quickly turning around once the door opens he's makes his way over to the podium*

"Henry Bisshop reporting for service to the Prince on behalf of Richard of Cambridge!"

*The wisp of a man who so clumsily entered the room barely breaks the 5' mark and would be 100 pounds soaking wet. He wears the clothes of a monk and his bald head shines in the candle light. He has a bushy goatee which covers most of his mouth. The books in his arms are thick and well used and he carries a plain brown sack over his shoulder. He walks with a severe limp but uses no cane.*

The Keeper writes down the info in his large book and the he smiles at the new arrival "No trouble at all Henry, its a fine night to welcome you into the city. The court is a bit empty right now as some....problems in the city are being tended to by the various kindred. I am Torston of Clan Lasombra and Keeper of this court. Welcome to the city of Amsterdam."

GM-approved time jump - some time has passed since everyone left to investigate the missing Malkavian
Gwynne flings open the door and strides briskly inside, in a stark contrast to her entrance earlier, clutching what seems to be a large scroll case. "Werewolves," She says loudly, wide eyed, "In the city." She holds up the scroll case. "And this..." She trails off nervously as she now realizes everyone is looking at her, and looks to Torston and Gregor for guidance.

Finn arrives just as Gwynne finishes speaking. She is accompanied by her 2 men at arms and Duccio.

"What Gwynne speaks is true. We found evidence of a werewolf within the city. I am not sure, but I would assume if there is one, there is more."

Enki enters through the door and is dressed in a set of full plate armor with a black tabard flanks on his left by a woman dressed in leather and chainmail armor and a dark robe. The Armor Enki wears has a striking resemblance to the armor of the Knights of Malta.

Enki speaks in a calm but stressed tone "Is everyone here? The wolves are not a pleasant group to deal with."

An exhausted Duccio arrived with Finn and her two guards after pushing himself to move as fast as he could with his bad leg shaking his head, "What is more I have found a common thread between all of the missing Nobles, while it cannot tie the disappearance of Willem Damwicher to them I do believe they are not unconnected."
Jul 11, 2020 2:06 am
"Perhaps we should send someone to check the homes of the nobles to see if their homes have the same symbols?"
Jul 11, 2020 2:18 am
"Symbols you say? That might be possible but not the connecting piece as it looks like all of the Nobles that have gone missing were all in place to be the next generation of the politically powerful and those who would have been instrumental in the shaping of this city. My theory is that this Willem Damwicher my have stumbled across something that he should not have while surveying as he was not a connected individual and a very reclusive man from what I have found."

Finn thinks for a moment. She finds some parchment and ink and begins to draw out the symbol,

"Would a werewolf care about politics? I am not familiar with their desires."

She shows the image to those that are in the room with them,

"This was on the building where Willem lived. Gwynne can explain more clearly what it means. If any of the nobles were of interested, perhaps they would be marked also?"

Gwynne produces a well drawn map better then most of the ones that were in the room it seems to be of Rondehoep Forest to the south part of the map has an area circled in red ink deep in the forest. The map could easily be followed from town to the location marked

"I also found this map in a hidden compartment in his apartment," she says, pulling the map out of the scroll case and turning towards Finn.

"As for the symbol, Enki was the one who knew what it meant - I was just able to tell that it was a werewolf who made the symbol," she says, shifting nervously. "He uh... he scratched it into the side of the building with his claws."

Duccio looked over the symbol with a sound of disgust, "Well I suppose those mongrels would still be clinging to that dyeing breed of Paganism and with that narrow mindset of course they would call Cainites draugur. Knowing this it would be safe a assume that the nobles would not have that mark at their residences as there was none other like us among the group."

Duccio looked over the map closely narrowing his eyes "Interesting all of the trackers and bounty hunters were last reported to have been heading east three days ago and have stopped reporting in but this map is pointing us south. I do have another interesting bit of information there was a noble who had gone missing one month ago only to show back up last week with his family saying that there was just a miscommunication and he was merely travelling the countryside."

Kristophe enters the room, his step a little faster than previous. He looks around at the registered kindred and his face lights up upon seeing those in attendance.

"Excellent, just who I needed to find. I had heard we may have a wolf problem that coincides with our missing persons. Though Isaac tells me there was markings left at the scene, I'm curious if that was a warning to us or to them. Regardless."

He walks over to Finn, giving a polite bow to the older woman before speaking more softly to her specifically. "My lady, if I may ask your assistance. If we are still uncertain of the missing kindred's whereabouts I may have a way to give some answers though I do need a specific object."

He leans down to whisper directly to her.

*Henry turns his attention away from the keeper now focusing his attention on the growing crowd and softly speaks*

"My word, werewolf's already? I have not even begun to unpack my belongings and already a threat emerges."

*Addressing no one in particular*

"I have been sent by Richard of Cambridge to assist the Prince in any way I am able. Since you all seem to be working on a werewolf problem, where would you have me assist? I am not of the rough and tumble variety but I am excellent in the scholarly pursuits."

Ilza comes in and walks up to Finn. "If Her Highness has a library, I may be able to come up with a way to weaken the beasts."

"Yes Dear sister, you are a wonder when surrounded by books. Hopefully there is a library worthy of your mind somewhere in this city."

Isaac enters in a hurry with an excited look on his face.
"I found it!I know what the circled area on the map is! Our missing map maker must have found the location and thats why they kidnapped him or he fled! There was an old germanic pagan ritual site nearby that has been lost. The map must lead to a possible location for it. The ritual site would be of great use to anyone or anyTHING with a connection to the spiritual world or occult practices. Maybe that's what the wolves want!"

Kristophe speaks quickly with one of Finn's man-at-arms, accepting the small object he ran to retrieve at her behest. Giving a nod and smile to the older woman in thanks he heads outside.

Returning about 5 minutes later, Kristophe gives a shake of his head, muttering silently to himself. He turns to face those gathered. "Well I can now tell you that our missing kindred is still among the... Moving, I guess. He has yet to meet his final departure. It seems the wolves are holding him. Now their reasoning, if I were to guess based on the findings of Isaac here, would be they want information from him. Perhaps the location of this ritual site you mention?"

Enki seems lost in thought for a moment and then snaps back to the task at hand first he looks over to Issac "For a newly dead your adapting quickly, and proving your worth.

He looks over to Kristophe and says in a somber tone "Or they are...extracting information from him on the city and its Cainite population. You don't happen to have a ghost of some sort that could take a look?"
