1400 CE

Kristophe claps his hands together, watching the others leave and this newcomer arrive. "I will have to echo the sentiments of Duccio, it seems you have arrived at a busy moment. I will have to go and make some preparations and then see what aid I can possibly grant. I feel this will involve less discussion however than some are hoping for."

With that, Kristophe leaves, giving a nod to the remaining kindred as he passes.

Elias tenses as he feels the eyes of the gathered Kindred on him, features nearly contorting into a snarl. He regains his composure in the next moment but his eyes dart wildly between all before him. To those moving on to other business he offers a respectful nod in both greeting and farewell. As they depart his head tilts to the side, a thoughtful look crossing his face.

"Enough!" He hisses softly to himself, as he turns his body to the woman advancing towards him. His eyes lock on her outstretched hand as if it were a weapon. Yet he takes the limb in a weak grip and gives it a tender shake. He is quick to pull his hand away once this is done. "Learning from an empty book is a great undertaking" He makes a sweeping gesture with palms open in a humble display. "You may be disappointed with my answers."

*Henry enters the room much more composed this time, shaking the hood off his head revealing his shiny bald head. He looks around the room, slightly disappointed that there are less people here now.*

"I have returned, unfortunately with no new knowledge. Has everyone who was going to speak to the werewolves left already?"

Finn turns to Henry,

"Other have left to gather their things and ready for war should it ensue. We are meeting at the edge of the forest"

She then turns to Elias,

"I have heard rumors that the Malkavians are able to speak to each other when not in the physical presence of one another. I ask because one of your brethren has been kidnapped, and has either been killed already, or is currently being tortured to death. Before I risk the lives of everyone accompanying me on this diplomatic mission, I would feel better knowing that Willem is still alive and this is a rescue mission, and I am not merely sending the sheep out to slaughter."

Elias snaps his head towards Henry as the newcomer enters. He wrinkles his nose at the mention of Lupines. A distracted look comes over his face and he tucks his chin into his shoulder. "Raging at the inevitable."

He looks up slowly to Finn, chuckling softly. "What you have heard is possible." He pauses, waggling his finger. "But only for some and with great difficulty." Pausing he chews on his lip thoughtfully and steeples his fingers in front of his face. "I have an interest in finding others of this scattered clan, therefore I must help you." His eyes widen a bit and he slowly lowers his hands to his sides as if embarrassed.

"How have you connected Willem to the werewolves?" He asks, raising an eyebrow. "If you have anything tangible that is relevant to the matter at hand in any way I will need it" With a soft sigh he looks back and forth between Finn and Henry. In a factual tone he says, "The unknowable all is revealed through the ineffable identity." He peers at both of them a moment then nods his affirmatively, as if deeming that an adequate explanation.

*Henry tilts his head thinking for a moment looking at Finn*

"From what I recall, about twice as fast as a human though you need to be careful since they can pick up speed in short bursts. Very fast creatures werewolves, excellent hunters. Good luck in the negotiations!"

Thank you Sir, duly noted.

Elias takes the map and nods his acceptance. With a wistful sigh he holds the vellum close to his chest. "I will join you after I have attended to one small matter." He looks bemused for a moment then clicks his tongue and says, "A hasty spirit exalteth folly." Moving towards the door he begins to chuckle softly to himself. Just as they close he lets go and releases a burst of raucous laughter.

*Henry turns to Torsten*

"Keeper Torsten, would you be so kind as to let anyone know who is looking for me that I am in my chapel on the outskirts? Saint Roch's is the name of it. I would like to ensure that any visitors have had time to consult with me"

The Keeper who has remained silent and seemingly unaffected but the conversations in court turns to Henry. "It shall not be a problem, I will refer any who are looking for you to there."

"Excellent, thank you keeper"

Kristophe enters through the doors, in a slight rush. He pulls behind him the unconscious, though still unliving, body of Wilhelm, the missing Malkavian. Turning towards the keeper he speaks.

"If someone could get the attention of the Prince, there have been developments, though they remain time sensitive I am afraid. It somehow seems that diplomacy may in fact work."
